The Bavaria Bed and Breakfast Hotel is a small, charming hotel only 7 minutes drive from the centre of Auckland. Our accommodation establishment is situated on the western side of an extinct volcano in the heart of Mt. Eden,one of Auckland's more picturesque, historic suburbs, on the periphery of the business center of Auckland.
Our 100-year-old kauri villa has been converted to a Bed and Breakfast in 1990 and furbished with native timber furniture.
The large, sunny guest lounge of our hotel leads on to a private deck in a small exotic garden.
The owners of this Bed and Breakfast accommodation, Ulrike Stephan and Rudi Schmidt, and staff are happy to assist you in making plans to explore Auckland and its surrounding highlights.
Nearby Auckland attractions include: Mt. Eden, Eden Gardens, Auckland Domain and Auckland Zoo.In walking distance from our Bed and breakfast is Eden Park which is Auckland's main rugby stadium. From the top of Mt. Eden get panoramic views of the center of Auckland and the Auckland Harbour. Enjoy some of Auckland's best cuisine along Dominion Road and Mt. Eden Road. Auckland sightseeing tour companies will pick you up from the doorstep of our accommodation.

A warm welcome from both hosts and perfect breakfast to start our day the next morning. We will definately stay again next we are in Auckland. Hosts both knowledgeable about Auckland which for overseas tourists is great but for us Aucklanders also interested in our saty but not at all nosey with it. We now live in Waipu but will be in Auckland from time to time and have found an affordable place to put our heads down. Many thanks again Liz & Brian
