Providing premium accommodation, with stunning sea views from every room, this designer bach is located in Oneroa in a 'tucked away but central' location.
The Point on Burrell was built in 2006 on an enviably elevated spot, and provides quality furnishings throughout. Set on 3 levels: the entry level is the foyer and bathroom, then walk down a short flight of stairs to the living, dining and kitchen. Up one level from the entry is the very spacious bedroom, where you can lie in bed whilst gazing out at the magnificent sea views.
Why consider an apartment, studio or hotel room when you can have the privacy of The Point on Burrell all to yourself during your stay on beautiful and unique Waiheke Island...
INSIDE LIVING:
Bedroom - King bed (sleepyhead executive plush) with luxury linen provided, electric blanket, bedside tables with lighting, fan, wardrobe. There is also a relaxing leather reading chair for enjoying the stunning sea views (or just stay in bed and enjoy them!).
Bathroom - Walk-in shower, vanity, toilet, heated towel rail. Magnificent views from the toilet and shower! :-)
Living/Dining/Kitchen - open plan living, dining and kitchen which opens via wall length bi-fold doors onto a large deck. From coffee plungers to candles, the house is fully furnished for your every need (see Detailed Facilities below).
OUTDOOR LIVING
A huge southwest facing deck provides stunning ocean views and landscaped gardens, incl Gas BBQ, sun loungers, quality aluminium/glass outdoor furniture.
The section is flat and so has easy access for cars. There is also private, off street parking. We also have 2 mountain bikes available for guests to use during their stay.
LOCATION:
Passenger/Car Ferries (Matiatia Wharf/Kennedy Point) just approx 6 min drive away. Bus stop 10 min walk.
Beaches - Surfdale (just a few min walk down a bush track directly off property). Blackpool and Little Oneroa (10-15 min walks). Oneroa (20 min walk or 3 min drive).
Shops, Cafes, Bars & Restaurants: Oneroa Village (3 min drive). Surfdale village (a few min walk). Countdown Supermarket just a 7 min drive. Beautiful Cable Bay and Mudbrick vineyards are approx 5 min drives.

The location is considered handy to shops, supermarket and any other beaches/ bays. The view is so great doesn't matter day or night. Ejnoyed the day view while having a cup of tea and dinner. Enjoyed the great night view in upstairs in bed, having relax chat with my wife until we fall asleep. The accommondation looks exactly the same as the describe. The place looks new when you walk in, you feel like welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine also with the landlord's hand written notes and two post cards for you to send to your family. The landlord allow the flaxible check in and check out time for my pregnant wife. The landlord is very friendly, with kind greetings and willing to help. The only thing we would love to suggest is the bed set( sheet and pillow cases) can be checked before the tenant arrive. We both think this can be improved easily. We had a wonderful time and wish our two night stay had been twice as long. The views were spectacular, the accommodation was superb and our overall experience was fantastic. The small touches were appreciated and the bed was so luxurious. We felt well looked after and spoiled in this perfect location. It was so elegant and easy, we felt instantly relaxed and comfortable as soon as we arrived and throughout our entire stay. We will be visiting again and telling friends!.

Comfortable little house, I only stayed 2 nights but would have loved to saty longer in this retreat!

OMG - what a fantastic place to stay! We were blown away by the luxurious accommodation, the small extras that make all the difference, the treats and the beautiful setting. We must confess to some furniture rearranging to take in the beautiful view, but loved the comfort and cosiness of the accommodation! We loved the privacy, the peace and quiet (except for your water-blasting neighbour on our last day - but hey not everyone is on holiday!!) and the ability to walk down to get a meal etc. We had a fantastic stay for our 10th anniversary and will definitely be back soon!

This accomodation is very private and well presented. The views from each level make for a relaxing break without even leaving the property. We found the location handy to shops, cafes and restaurants. The Point is well equipped for those who wish to self cater and be entertained with the comforts of home. Delightful decor and thoughtful little touches all add to the experience.

An absolutely awesume place to stay with wonderful views. Can only reiterate all the other comments. Only wished we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend it to couples wanting a special place to stay, within easy reach of Auckland and no traffic problems. Will be back.
