Hotel room was lovely but as we were on the 2nd floor the noise from the pub across the road was a bit disappointing. Pool was great, staff were excellent. Very central location. Would stay again but maybe on a higher floor. 5Karen Purnell - Apr 5, 2013 Travelbug verified review

Offered optional cost upgrade on check-in which we accepted. Suite spacious and comfortable. Tv remote did not work (wrong brand for the tv), replaced with a working one. The bathroom was a little tired and the heated towel rail did not work - only two towels supplied so cold damp towels the next morning didn't start the day well. Location excellent, staff attentive.

We stayed in the executive 2 bdrm suite with our children.. Loved it! was very spacious and had everything we needed and more. Have stayed at city life queen street many times before and their service & hospitality is always excellent. We will definately be booking there again very soon :).

We were initially disappointed on arrival in the suite as it appeared it had not been set up for a group of people to stay but more for a business meeting with dinner. There were tables on their sides in the bedrooms which we had to repeatedly ask to be removed and it was embarrassing as our guests had arrived. There were not enough comfy chairs for everyone to sit in so some had to sit at the dinner table all night. We were also asked to pay for parking on leaving even though this was part of the deal we had purchased. However the chef who cooked us dinner in the suite was absolutely excellent and his food was divine so it did out way all the other things.
