We used a grabone deal which was great value and the localtion perfect as we wanted to be close to princes wharf. Our room overlooked the harbour and the cloud. The room and bathroom facilities were good but were very tired and in need of refurbishment. Reception and lounge were very nice and the staff friendly and helpful. It was only $99 for 2 of us to stay, but the whole hotel needs a refurb and paint job. The bar man rohit, needs some further education in service. When 4 people are at the bar wanting to give money for drinks don't ignoe them and serve someone else who just came to the bar!!!!!! we left. And parking was $24 extra not mentioned anywhere! felt ripped off really. .

We stayed on the 8th floor rm 810. Great awesome view over viaduct hrabour and rangitoto island. Nice clean tidy room, bed lovely and soft, noise from traffic not a problem with double windows. Bathroom nice. Would totally recommend such a great spot. Only small complaint i think parking could be cheaper $ 24 over night is quite step but that could be quite stand in town. Overal just great would stay again. Thanks :-).

Great location. Our room was on the 11th floor and well fitted out. Bathroom in need of an upgrade as does the sparkly ceiling in the main room. Desk staff were polite and helpful. We paid extra for breakfast and sat out on the deck. Good value for money.

Was a great location with waterfront views and reasonably priced beer at the bar $6 not bad! got a deal with free breakfast for 2 both days and parking which was great! would stay again!.

For the price i paid the hotel was satisfactory. However, i wouldn't book it again. It really needs a revamp, and the bathrooms are not good at all. The bed was comfy, but the pillows were very bad and the noise from neighbouring restaurants and clubs was a problem for sleeping. On entering the hotel it smelled very musty as if there was a damp problem. However, the staff were very friendly and you can't beat the location.

Awesome! staff were welcoming and friendly, especially considering we were obviously not the usual classy cliental the copthorne is use to. Great location seen as we've just finished a cruise and were well aware of parking fee that all accommodation in auckland central charge for. Room was cosy, food was well presented and reasonably priced and room condiments were the best we've seen including toothbrush & paste, shoe shine, quality soap, shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser and a vanity kit. Our bed was comfortable and complimentary late checkout was a bonus. Thankyou for offering to be part of grabone, certainly topped off our holiday; just wish it had been available may 21st, would've grabbed one again . The teaukura family of tokoroa :).
