Friendly and affordable hotel right in the heart of Auckland City. Major renovation 2010. 122 rooms well suited to the traveller or group seeking quality, value & location. Set back from Queen Street and backing onto Myers Park it's in a quiet yet ideal central location with free parking (limited so first come first served).
There are 79 2-3 star Dbl / Twin Ensuite Rooms with Queen double or Twin King Singles, Ensuite Family Rooms with Queen and 2 king singles and 3 One Bedroom Apartments with kitchenette a Queen double and 3 king singles. They all have LCD flatscreen TV, tea/coffee making, phone and ensuite bathroom. And a further 40 Economy Rooms in Single and Twin / Double configurations each with vanity basin but sharing bathroom facilities.
Hotel facilities include a spacious lounge, restaurant & bar. 24-hour reception, Free Parking, business centre with travel desk & internet café — wireless & fixed. Guest laundry, free luggage storage, direct taxi line with discounted rates. Convenient to the airport bus and all transport services.

Great value for money and a very central spot. Clean and tidy and a flat screen tv which was great. A lot better than you can get elsewhere for that money. Highly recommend it ( staff very cool too).

Got what could be expected, maybe a little more, for the price. Reception friendly and efficient. Room clean, tidy, good bed, en suite bathroom small but workable. Tv didn't want to go properly the first night (may well have been me) sorted for second. Asked for and got, room overlooking myers park (nice if you allow for late night revellers) and free parking for the whole time we were there. Only minus would be that the walls are very thin and general hall noise quite intrusive. Would suggest a fire exit only, no exit, sign on the stairway at the room 160 corner. Would stay again. .

As usual the hotel was basic, but clean and comfortable. We arrived early around 10:30 and instead of having to store our luggage unitl 2pm check in the lady gave us a vacant room early. Very helpful! thanks kiwi hotel, i will definitely stay again.

Good comfortable bed, clean room, nice staff, free parking and bus stop near to hotel so we left the car parked for the whole weekend.have stayed at this establishment many times over the last 20 or so years and find it suits us well.

Just as expected for a budget price. Room (twin ensuite) was small but comfortable. Ideal for a quick stay.
