Extremely good value for the special deal price we paid. Room goodsize, bed comfortable and everything clean and all you needed. Helpful friendly staff will stay there again .

I didn't end up staying as i booked the wrong date and then couldn't change the booking. The mercure staff tried to be helpful but didn't have flexibility to change dates booked through travelbug.

Had a great stay in the hotel and would definitely come back view from 9th floor over looking harbour was incredible - kept the kids entertained for ages!!. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing too! rooms a tad tired looking but in reality - if in auckland just how much time will you spend in your room!?.

Convenient to airbus connection and vector arena(15 minute walk). On 8th floor, was quiet had deluxe double. No problems with lift noise, all chattels in good condition. Have stayed before, much quieter than some in quay st.. More information as per marie oct 2012 re car parking would be helfpul.

Wonderful view from the 9th floor but yes, those lifts are noisy and the rooms are looking tired. If you are in town to do something out and about, it's a great crash pad. If you want to spend some time relaxing in a hotel.... It's not as plush as others in this price range.
