Good location in queen street auckland. The bathroom had no windows so it was dripping with moisture are you had a shower. The breakfast was good. Good service, let us check in early and check out at 12... Kept bags at hotel desk for us until our flight out later that night so we could roam the city. Also very reasonable location for the price. Not a 5-star but great for a cheap intimate night where u want to go to a movie with ur partner and then head for a cuddle. .

My booking was changed by the mercure windsor and i was promised an 'upgrade" to the mercure auckland premises - which did not eventuate. The replacement room was cramped, aged and untidy and so far removed from being an upgrade as to be laughable. Not happy! i intend to take this experience to the accor hotel chain management because all of my previous stays with the mercure windsor have been most enjoyable. The relocation and so-called upgrade were less than satisfactory but i will put in a plug for the mercure staff and for the excellent food and service in the top floor restaurant at mercure auckland on customhouse quay.

No windows for fresh air, loose bathroom shower unit needs replacing, loved the tall ceilings, air con unit needs servicing. Not even any dishes or cutlery provided in room. Apart from that was a good stay and room was serviced well, cleaning staff caught us on the way out and asked if we would like our room serviced, internet charges were additional and not complimentary. Check out staff we're very helpful and a delight to deal with, good location in central auckland on queen street.

Cheap but the duty manager was a complete idiot and had a heated argument with a customer over $5 worth of internet charges. The customer was from overseas. I was embarrassed to be a nzer and he didn't back down until i told him what i thought of him. Get some decent staff!.

Extremely noisy on a saturday night. Hotel backs on to a club that goes all night. Windows are double glazed, but that didn't help us get any sleep.

Great location, easy to find from the nearby airport bus stop and walking distance to the vector arena and devenport ferry. No noise, clean and tidy and pleasant staff, though we were only there overnight. Would use again .
