  • One of the worse motels we had stayed in. Very noisy between the trains / motorway and the other guests upstairs who we had to ask to be quiet at 2am! did not sleep at all. The louvers etc in the kitchenette were very mouldy. No smoking policy except that the other clients used the box outside our unit for smokes. Whole unit smelled of smoke. Will never stay there again, not worth the cheapish price. 1

  • I am aware that this was a 'no frills' motel due to the reduced rate, however ... I booked and paid in advance for three adults to stay for one night ... When we arrived, the room was only serviced for two ... Two plates, cups, glasses, cutlery and linen etc. Upon informing the hotel manager, his 'casual' response was firstly not to believe that i had booked for three, secondly to suggest that i go to the community kitchen?' to collect extra crockery and cutlery ... It didn't seem to register to him that we would still be without a bath towel etc.?, after further discussion, i was finally given the third set of mismatched utensils / linen we were rightfully entitled to in the first place! we will not be returning to the motel and i won't be recommending it. . 1

  • Found family unit was really not a good layout, single beds where in the lounge so very hard to get kids to bed, i would change it a round like most places we have stayed. But the big thumbs down is the ants.. Had got some food and when out for 10 minutes ants all over food... Would not rec-amend to a family . 1

  • Booked for 3 people, had to go and ask for 3rd towel. Room was cold (we arrived after a huge downpour) and asked for a heater, which was brought to our room ... it didn't work. No frills room, with beside wall lampo completely missing, duvet over bottom sheet so you became uncovered if you moved too much. Bathroom was disabled unit - the drain hole couldn't cope with the amount of shower water and floor totally flooded. Hairdryer in bathroom right beside handbasin and fell in when the screw came out of the wall when we went to use it. 3 mugs, but only 2 plates made dinner interesting. Easy to find, parking was good and free ... so the rate of $99 for the 3 or us was reasonable. Pity the details let them down.ok for a quick stop if you are just wanting somewhere to put your head down after a long day (or hard night). 1

  • Very ordinary, very noisy (motorway, railway) and basic for the price. Reception closes at 10.00pm so if your plane is late that's a problem too. 1
