I suppose when on a tight budget you get what you pay for, but the toenail on the floor when we arrived was still there when we left three days later despite the unit being cleaned daily. Other small things let the motel down like the burnt cord on the electric kettle and the black mildew on the net curtains. Otherwise it was an enjoyable stay, obviously trucker friendly by the number of trucks there.( in my mind a positive). 5ROY WHYTE - Jan 30, 2013 Travelbug verified review

Motel very handy to manukau city. Room was comfortable. Thought the heating needed updating, but all in all, ok.

We stayed in a family unit. Great to have the extra bathroom. The unit was clean and comfortable but could do with a bit of an update. Close to Rainbows End which is what we wanted & walking distance to shopping centre.. The only gripe was the sofa bed downstairs was very uncomfortable for our eldest daughter. We would stay again though.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, quiet considering, price reasonable and the staff were friendly. The cleanliness could have been better and we bought a plug in to combat the smell. Beware the wifi, make sure you understand what you are paying for as I got stung in US$. We will stay again. Thanks.

Enjoyed our stay close to a lot of great places Manakau city Rainbows End Dennys (yum) Frienly staff.Also close by is the arcade, did,nt have the pleasure of dining at the Restaurant.

Eeewww! Wouldn't stay here again, only 2 towels for the 3 of us, shower was filthy and broken. Plug in bathroom sink would not come out, no top sheet on beds, a duvet only. Smelt strange and very noisy due to the fact that Genghys restaurant is quite popular.

Very convenient location, easy to find and heaps of parking. Room had everything I needed and apart from some pen marks on the wall, it was clean and tidy. Great value, I will be back.
