We warmly welcome travellers from NZ and overseas, whether on holiday or business, to our comfortable, sunny and modern home in peaceful Bayswater. Here you can relax and feel at home yet still be within easy reach of all that Auckland has to offer.
Easy walk to ferry, downtown Auckland is just a short, pleasant trip away across the harbour. 5 minute drive to: motorway to travel north or south, Devonport or Takapuna, restaurants, conference centres, shopping and beaches. On bus route. Start or end your NZ journey with us - we are within easy reach of Auckland Airport (about 40-50 minutes depending on traffic). Shuttles are easily accessed at the airport and will bring you right to our front door. We also offer courtesy drop-off or pick-up from either the Devonport or Bayswater ferries. If you are driving, there is an off-street car park for you right up by the house.
We have one Queen room with queen-size bed and/or one Twin room with two king-single beds, accommodating up to 4 people. Both rooms are upstairs and are bright and spacious with comfortable beds and quality linens. We only cater for one group (or single person) at a time, meaning you will always have exclusive use of guest facilities. The private tiled bathroom is between the two bedrooms. You also have your own separate TV lounge with fridge & tea & coffee making facilities. It is possible to add a single bed to the Queen room for a child if required. Free wi-fi, internet access, use of laundry, spa pool, generous continental breakfast are all included. Full cooked breakfast also available at extra cost. Rates for longer term stays are negotiable. One shy, lazy old cat lives with us but prefers to keep to himself.

Very hospitable hosts,spacious rooms (3+bathroom). Close to Ferry to city. Excellent breakfasts plus more. Nothing too much trouble for the hosts. Highly recommend for anyone seeking accommodation on North Shore side. Only minor issue - not much view.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Lesley and Gordon they are the nicest hosts you can wish to have, so warm, kind and welcoming. The Beresford B&B is just beautiful, so tranquil and finished to a very high standard with lots of love and care by Lesley. It is in a great location with easy access to the city and the ferry terminal is literally at the end of Beresford Street, perfect for days or nights out in the city without the stress of finding inner city parking! I loved this location and i would highly recommend a stay to anyone, I will be visiting again that is for certain.

A quiet haven and very convenient for downtown Auckland and the Islands of the Hauraki Gulf. Superb standard of accommodation, brilliant breakast and very flexible, helpful hosts.

The service was personable and of high quality. The facilities were very comfortable and relaxing. The hosts were very accommodating, friendly and welcoming and the food was nice. I highly recommend this place and i hope to stay there when i am in auckland again. Thanks lesley and gordon.

Modern home with very nice architecture. Guests share a newly renovated bathroom. (Sharing was no issue since I was alone). Location was very convenient for me but may be for others too due to the ferry. Lesley and Gordon have been proactively extremely helpful for our further trip to Fiji saving us an unpleasant surprise. Thanks a lot!

Lovely home and hosts. Modern, quality linen etc and very clean. Yummy extras like chocolates and muffins and great breakfast. Soothing hot tub was enjoyed by my daughter and i. Thanks for being so accommodating with our last minute booking.

It was a great stay. Our hosts were very helpful, cheerful, and gracious. The accomodations were lovely, and comfortable. Private bath and sitting room. Delicious continental breakfast and tea, coffee & goodies. Close to the ferry to take into Auckland.
