Clean and tidy although dated. Only unpleasant thing was that the security doors downstairs were not locked at night and two very loud and rude guys turned up early hours of the morning banging on the door next door and yelling "wake up wake up". The guy obviously knew them and let them in and they all talked loudly for about 15mins before they left. :(.

Strong air freshener type smell in the corridor. Hair dryer in bathroom didn't work. Bathroom fan made no noticeable difference to steam on the mirror. Dining table was unstable if you leaned on it. No cover for beds, just a covering sheet. Kitchen tao leaked. Would not stay again.

Our room had an interconnecting door and although it was locked there was a 3cm gap underneath and the man next door made a 30min call on his phone at 5-30am on a sunday morning.It was very dark in the shower and paint was peeling off everywhere with black mould in corners and sides of windows. Fridge was also overstocked with bar items from the motel. We won't stay again.

The room was good value,clean and spacious the only glitch was the fact that the air conditioner did not work.In the Summer this would have been a problem but the supplied heater overcame it on this occasion.

Stayed for 2 nights over Easter. Really enjoyed it, nice, quite and clean.

We stayed with your motel at Takapuna for 2 nights. The room has no nice views because it is at the bottom, however,it is quite convenient location from the town. And the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall Parklane Motor Inn was satisfactory.

Hello ,We have just returned from our holiday After having stayed in so many motels ,we would rate yours at best 3 star. Unfotunately for us we were given a room that was facing the road and it was very ,very noisy. As we have more than 4 nights a quieter room would have been nice . Fridge was overstocked with your items that there was no room for our items. Most motels we stayed in do not have that many items. The fridge was definately not cold, unable to cope . Bathroom is nice and big but the hairdryer either needed nstructions for use or a power point for clients own hairdryer Hope this is helpful Regards
