Waiheke Island, Palm Beach a sunny, modern, airy apartment with sea views. This apartment is attached to our home but is completely private with own entrance.
Just a 7 min walk to the white sands of Palm Beach,where there is safe all tide swimming,complete with shop,takeways and bus stop. A 10 min walk in the other direction to the Waiheke Island Resort.
Set amongst tropical native bush with its north easterly aspect, it is very sunny and warm in Winter.Heater and electric blanket provided.
1 large bedroom with queen bed and double fold out couch in lounge room,suitable for extra adults/kids.
Well equipped kitchen and laundry.
Free WiFi and flat screen TV with DVD player.Selection of kids and adults books,DVDs and games.Stereo with iPod dock.
There is a longish path up to the property which may not be suitable for the eldery or less abled.
Relax on the deck and enjoy the peace and quiet that this apartment has to offer,yet is close to all amenities.
Linen and Towels provided.
Please advise if coming at night time and I can leave path lights on and torches in letterbox.

Was an amazing stay. Spacious lounge and balcony. Loved the view and the morning birds. Stairs did not matter at all. Just a few issues with parking though. Otherwise very highly recomended. 5HALEEM DEAN - Apr 16, 2013 Travelbug verified review

Arrived on Friday night car ferry and managed to find the place easily. Parking is hard against a bank and driveway not recommended for low cars. We were prepared for 50+ steps, but unprepared for navigating the uneven steps in the dark. Head torch recommended. We did not realize this was a basement apartment under the owners house. This should be made more clear. Great facilities and information on local attractions. Weather wasn't great for our visit so we were thankful for the tv and random assortment of DVDs.

A great spot, but we aware there is ~50 stairs to get to the front door. Not a novelty on Waiheke, and not a problem for us, but may be for others.

Thank you David for the nice rating.Yes,there are a lot of steps,but it is a gentle slope,going up into a beautiful bush setting,with a bench halfway to rest.A lot of people realise its worth it for the peace, privacy, birdsong and tranquility it offers without any traffic noise. Regards Trish
