  • Great place to stay! awesome location, excellent room and good staff. There wasn't much to complain about other then some cobwebs on the outside of our window. Staff were great to deal with and requests such as extra towels weren't a problem. Great value for money - i highly reccomend staying. 5

  • The thumbs down is based on the fact that my husband and i wouldn't return to this hotel. Pretentious is the word that comes to mind. It was an average stay- nothing great, nothing too bad about it. Perhaps, i am comparing too much with other hotels i've been to. We stayed at hotel on devonport the night before where we received a complimentary drink on arrival and friendly, genunine hotel staff, so we really wished we had just stayed there. Breakfast at trinity was average and stunning view from the restaurant. The room however was bland, uninviting, and besides the tiles in the bathroom, there is not much good to say about it. Staff at front desk working on the day of 23-03-03 to 24-03-03 did not seem very happy about working there. 1

  • Hi Diane - thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback and delighted to hear you enjoyed the stunning views from the restaurant. We do hope we can have another opportunity to welcome you back to Trinity Wharf Tauranga to demonstrate that we do have friendly and genuine staff who enjoy providing excellent customer service. We would certainly recommend the Premium Waterview Spa Guestrooms in which the views of the harbour are exceptional. Your comments have been passed on to the appropriate staff regarding breakfast and ensuring a warm welcome.

  • Good big bed, clean facilities, air conditioning was good, the restaurant had good staff and good service as well as nice food. Good to see a nice gym and pool. OK. Had not come across the 1.5% credit card charge anywhere before!!!! 5

  • All in all a disappointing stay from a hotel which I have previously enjoyed. The bathroom was not clean, in particular the shower, and the floor. Internet access was $9 per half hour - which these days is ridiculous. We were offered an upgrade to a room which did not look over the railway line for $60 per night, but (sadly for us it turned out) didn't take it (we hadn't seen the view in advance!). The access card for the room/car park didn't work, and this meant additional hassle upon arrival and getting to our room. The bar area was great, and the bar staff excellent, however. 1
