Bell Lodge Motel & Backpackers

Bell Lodge is a unique purpose built Motel / Backpacker Hostel complex where all rooms open onto wooden decks.

The Motel units are self contained with a small kitchenette and basic equipment. These sleep up to six people. The Super Kingsize Bed can be split allowing twin beds in the main Area, with two 2 bed bunks in the smaller room.

In the Backpacker Complex there are clean communal dorms or you can have a double or twin room with en-suite, just for the two of you. No large noisy bus crowds here, just genuine kiwi hospitality. There is plenty of safe parking off the street to ensure that you and your vehicle remain secure.

If you an international backpacker wanting to earn some money then Sheree & Rick are renowned for finding work all year round. Attractive weekly rates are offered so that you can save more during those longer stays when working.

The location is great giving you a short stroll to supermarkets, pharmacy, post shop and buses. Where possible, they will even take you to the beaches or do a drop off or pick up from the bus terminal. For those wanting to tent then Bell Lodge has a few sheltered sunny tent sites. They can organise all local activities such as dolphin swimming, surf lessons, sky-diving, and many more.
