A quite exceptional experience. The setting of Coombe Farm in a side valley is lovely, the garden is exceptional, and the house is beautifully decorated and maintained. Bedlinen is of the highest standard. Kathrine and Hugh were the friendliest and most considerate of hosts, and the breakfast was also of the highest quality. An equivalent stay in an English B&B would have cost several times the price we paid. I cannot praise it highly enough.

We loved everything about our stay at Coombe Farm. The house is so beautiful; fresh and clean as well as being stylish and contemporary with an appealing quirkiness. Our room was delightful, spacious and comfortable with an ensuite bathroom. Kathrine and Hugh are such wonderful hosts and Kathrine cooks an amazing breakfast. She also baked the yummiest cookies which were served with refreshing pots of tea. The farm is in a peaceful valley and our stay was very relaxing. It was our best ever stay in NZ and we'll make sure we stay longer next time.
