We had a lovely little cottage with a great view. Very secluded and peaceful. We also appreciated the help finding dinner when we arrived late. .

Very nice and peaceful little cottage with good afternoon sun on the verander and beautiful sound of birds in the trees. About a 30 min walk into middle of town so close enough to get yourself home if you're having a few drinks out (ask the owners for a torch for the walk back), and a great spa bath to soak in when you get back. All in all a great overnight stay, will definitely be keen to stay again next time.

Nice cottage - large room with all the mod cons - sky tv, heatpump, spa, etc. Nice bush views and very private. Enjoyed hearing and seeing the native birds.

Poor night lighting, on narrow driveway approach.I tripped and fell on front steps as couldn't find exterior light switch.Over-rated in terms of 5 star quality.....poor shower pressure, is more of an average low quality expectation stay.

We could not have been more excited about the wonderful location and scenery around Akaroa Cottages. The room and kitchenette were very nice, bathroom quite small but sufficient, and the managers were very nice. It was not possible to get internet easily, but we were on vacation. Would definitely go back again if we were in the area.
