I requested for an airport pickup when the booking was made waited at the airport for 30mins with 2kids .finally got a cab when enquired with hotel they never received this request from travelbug .not using you guys again.

Staff brilliant! clean, tidy,only just adaquate but small room. No drawers or cuboard doors, (we assume it was due to being able to do the drop hold shelter drill) great coffee at the container village 100yds away and ballantynes of course. Very little else to see except the damage. Be aware that hotel parking is very expensive (a bug bear of mine) and that wilson parking have scooped up most of the vacant space. Would stay again for the staff if novotel not built. .

Very handy location to central christchurch. Car park great. Rooms compact but fine. Would have helped if staff had mentioned we should book for dinner as large group meant we couldnt eat til 8.30pm and very few alternatives in central chch at the moment. Overall a good choice in a limited range.

The hotel was great, our only issue was not being able to get there due to the road closures around it, it would have been nice if it had of been mentioned somewhere that to ring for directions due to the red zone road closures would have been nice instead of driving around in ever decreasing circles. We could see it we just couldn't get to it. Everything else was great, coffee cups could be bigger. Would stay there again.

Staff are fantastic. They have done a great job at getting open again. Shoebox sized room with a view of a concrete wall. Wouldnt stay here again. .

A fantastic hotel. Loved the room and the location - just 1min from Cathedral Square and central to all restaurants, bars, tours, etc. Excellent staff - very friendly and welcoming. The buffet breakfast was scrumptious! When visiting Christchurch again the Ibis will definately be the hotel of our choice.

Lucky that book a room with the price of $77. The room is tiny and clean. Staff in the reception and housekeeping are quite friendly and helped a lot. I enjoyed staying in Ibis. Next time will choose it,too.

Good location right in the CDB and within walking distance to all activities we were interested in. Nice clean room but rather small. Would have been nice to have just one double/queen bed in the room and therefore more space to more around.
