Our complex is comfortably nestled in park-like settings with stunning views adjacent to Hammer Forest's many walking and cycle tracks.
Located 1.5km from the village centre, we are perfectly positioned to offer you convenient access to all that Hammer has to offer, a quiet retreat in which to relax at the end of the day.
Wake to the sound of the bell birds in one of the 12 units, all featuring fully equipped kitchens that are accessed via covered verandas.
They include a unique timber-lined retreat with fire (sleeps 2-6), fully self-contained units (sleeps 2-5), family unit (sleeps 3-7), cosy studio (sleeps 2-4) or economical kitchen cabin (sleeps 2-5).
Wifi Internet throughout the property.

Apline apartments were clean and well presentated but should be sold as a cabin rather than an apartment, as expectations were higher than what was delivered in regards to the accomodation. Location was great, playground was ok service was ok.

Alpine Holiday Apartments & Campground has cabins that are basic in "look and feel" but are as convenient and full featured as a motel. The owner is extremely accommodating to all needs of visitors. Our object was to see sights in New Zealand. The cabin made this easy with cooking facilities and other conveniences. Highly recommended.

Kitchen and bathroom facilities were dirty. No specific marked out tent sites were confused about where to set up. Staff not available.

On the day in question, there were 70 plus people in the camp using all facilities. Therefore it IS entirely possible that some of these people used the toilets and showers etc. If you had this many people using your toilets I'm sure there would be some time between cleans that they would also be this way, as most people we see don't bother to clean up after themselves. We don't believe here in dictating to people where they should or should not camp. We like a more relaxed way of camping and not forcing people to be on each others doorsteps. Staff are always available, from early in the morning til at least 11pm at the office. We do not walk around the camp all day acting like babysitters or policeman for people who obviously have no common sense. This person stayed for 2 nights, so if there was such a problem, maybe they should have said something at the time. We would have been only too happy to help.
