Mark and Janice welcome you. Whether you are passing through or spending time in the Village and surrounds we want your stay with us to be enjoyable and refreshing.
All of our units are spacious, each with a sunny verandah, spectacular views over the Hanmer Basin and out to the mountains, a home away from home. Only a 5 minute stroll to all that the Village has on offer - the Thermal Pools, cafes and great restaurants.
We are a Qualmark rated 4 star motel , recipients of the Qualmark Enviro-Bronze Award and members of MANZ. Our nine modern units offer accommodation options for most travellers needs - comprising of 4 one bedroom, 2 two bedroom family units and 3 studio spa bath units, all of which are serviced daily.

Plenty of room, friendly owners, very quiet, and a short walk to the pools.

A comfortable, warm and clean motel unit which met our needs and was close to the Hanmer Springs and food outlets that we could easily walk to where we needed to go. Motel hosts were cheerful and welcoming.

Because of adverse weather conditions ie heavy snowfall ,it was necessary to cancel my booking. I feel that the $32.40 commission for booking 2 nights accommodation that I was charged is excessive. Beware making bookings on line !

Lovely friendly hosts, the rooms are very clean, modern and quiet! Close to everything Hanmer has to offer. would definately recomend Alpine Garden as the place to stay, rates are very reasonable too. Many thanks Angie

Excellent accommodation, comfortable beds and spotless facilities,beautiful outlook, very tidy grounds and buildings. Cheerful and knowlegable hosts can accommodate requests with ease. Nice distance for short stroll into town, towels provided for thermal pools. A good selection of reading material and DVDs for a relaxing read on the patio or night in. Would highly recommend and will stay here again when next in Hamner.
