Nice tidy suite, close to centre. Being a corner unit upstairs and only vertical blinds under curtains to close, proved not that private and had to have the room dark most of our stay otherwise everyone walking along the path saw straight in to our living area. 5Becs - Nov 16, 2012 Travelbug verified review

A nice motel,didnt like the hand basin in bathroom which we had to use as a sink to rinse dishes as no washing facilities in kitchen.We stayed two nights but our bathroom wasnt cleaned or replenished on the second day,which you would expect.

Mr Jones, I am sincerely sorry for your negative experience at Tussock Peak. We pride ourselves on ensuring a pleasant stay. We fully realise the inadequacies of not having a dish washing sink in some of our downstairs studio's and as new operators are hoping to resolve this in the near future. During services we do replenish all towels etc but not shampoo, soap or face towelettes. My apologies Mr Jones, we will address this. Thank you for staying with us Mr Jones. Have a great day. Nicky

Nicely appointed, clean upstairs studio, comfy bed, relaxing with sunny aspect. So close to pools and shops we walked everywhere, didn't even use the car! Very friendly, helpful staff. Heather

We booked a king spa suite and got there to find the motel had been over booked accidently so luckily the reception lady booked us into Drifters Inn Motel, which was even closer to town with a large spa and nice room with huge bed, and she paid the difference. She even shouted us a drink later on that night when we bumped into her. Highly recommend this place and also Drifters Inn.

Sensational, welcoming and helpful hosts. Good position, nice stroll into main strip. HOWEVER, we thought , as thats what was indicated when we booked, that the room would have a king bed, (one of the reasons we booked this venue), but it was not a king. We didn't say anything because of the wonderful hospitality and we would stay there again!
