Aspen Court Motel, KAIKOURA

We are a Qualmark rated 4+ star contemporary motel opened in October 2006. We take great pride in the cleanliness and comfort of our units. We are 2 minutes drive to central Kaikoura or approx 20 minute walk. 15 luxury king studios, 2 triple share king studios, a 1-bedroom unit and 2 standard studios with ensuite and tea/coffee-making facilities only.

As prevention is far better than cure, we have recently implemented a 5 star Hygiene Program which is independently audited, to provide and reassure our guest that we have set a new standard of caring for guests and to assure you every effort has been made to provide a room that has been hygienically cleaned with steam instead of harsh chemicals, sanitised and is insect free. With these specific procedures, every attempt is made to provide our room indoor environment is bacteria and virus free upon arrival, all for the safety and comfort of you, our guests.

The central guest lounge/foyer opens into courtyard and has a private BBQ area at the back section. Most units open up to balcony or courtyard with views of the Kaikoura Ranges. Breakfast are available (additional charges apply). All rooms have super comfy super king-size beds with some having the ability to twin share (split into 2 singles). Close to beach and all major activities/attractions including whale watching, dolphin and seal swimming, scenic flights including whale flights and the Kaikoura winery. Near cafes, bars, restaurants and major supermarket.

Reception is open daily from 8am till 8.30pm. If you expect to arrive after hours please make contact on day of arriving to get key details and directions. If you require to check out prior to 8am please settle account the night before departure. Christmas Day (25 December) is the only day of the year where there is no housekeeping services available.
