  • A good location that has well priced deals quite often. Though their full prices are probably a touch over market for the quality of fittings and amenities. Stayed three nights after first night asked to change rooms as bed was very soft. Staff were helpful and although they claimed all beds where the same, the replacement room had a firmer bed. Parking is not guaranteed so the later you check in the less likely to get one. Also not suited to anything other than small cars. If they are offering a deal then all good, but full price not so sure. 5

  • Room was okay, parking ridiculous, service terrible. Receptionist/night porter was pleasant enough until we noticed that we didn't have a corkscrew in our room. Then he became cagey and unprofessional... He seriously needs some more training in customer service. The entire establishment seems to be run by younger people which just does not sit right. They have no idea how to respond to an unhappy customer. I will not be staying there again as me and my family felt like we were 'in the way'. 1

  • The booking was great. The reception at the hotel was fabulous, however the hotel room was shabby and needed updating. All in all, it was the 7's weekend and we were just grateful to get a room. 5

  • Our stay was nice because the hotel is located centrally and you do not need the car to get around. There is underground parking which is good but manouvering is very difficult when many places are occupied, all is very narrow. The staff is to be mentioned as very nice people, helpful and sweet. we enjoyed it and will be back. 5

  • Clean and tidy room.Good housekeeping.Great location for our stay.The receptionist though, needed to make further inquireries when we asked about the"happy hour" times in the bar.We asked her on two separate occassions.Had a bit of trouble with on/off button on TV in our room, but otherwise we would have no problem staying here again. 5

  • Cheap and comfortable. My only real complaint was about the Wifi internet access. It was really expensive (NZ$60/week) compared to what I get in Australia, US or Europe as well as having poor up/download speeds and being flakey. 3

  • Good location although parking was NOT included in the price.Include $15 per day when you calculate the price. Room was good and clean. It took 15 min to get the receptionist to open garage door at 1.30am. Nothing special. Would stay again if needed 5

  • If you want to stay here ask to see the room first. Our room was a bit dark and shabby, and not completely clean (hair in the basin and on the floor, stains on underside of blanket, dust on desk and cups) definitely not as nice as the photos shown on the website. Was also charged a bond - which offended me a bit. I paid $110 and I know I could have got better elsewhere in Wellington city. 1

  • Would not stay again prepaid for room but when we arrived at the Hotel they demanded a $100 refundable deposit on any items used at the hotel, hotel was ok very but very shabby could do with upgrading but I guess you get what you pay for have now found a better hotel in Wellington same price and no noise and new hotel was found on TravelBug 5

  • Parking was a bit of a problem. We initially parked in pkg building next door only to be told that it would shut shortly and be closed until the next Monday (this was on a Saturday evening)and our car would be locked in! Apparently there should have been a sign telling us this but neither me nor my husband saw it. A freezing cold Wintery Wgtn night - the room wasn't very warm and no electric blanket on bed...BBBRRRRRR!! Otherwise good. 5

  • Front Desk service was excellent. The room was nicely presented but fell down on a couple of points: The sink drain was partly blocked and took an age to drain. The Hotel room notes that sky TV channels were available including #4, the movie channel.We could not get reception on this channel. 4

  • Convenient location, parking OK - but was not advised of cost of parking until we got there it should be on the website. And not a lot of parking first in first served. Location is great though with easy walking to most locations. A bit lax on the housecleaning - coffee cups weren't replaced and items not restocked when we were there for four days - reusing cups was a bit off. 5

  • Unhelpful, added items to bill that we had not used; very shabby. Would definitely not recommend this hotel. Beware: when you book on line it appears that you are booking for bed and breakfast (and I checked that this was the case with the receptionist when I checked in). However on checking out we were charged for our very mediocre breakfasts (if we had known we would have had much better fare down the road for much less). 1
