Still advertised as Taupo's newest motel but I'd say that was debatable. Nice clean rooms with all the comforts you'd expect in this price range. My wife and I had just been married 2 days beforehand in Whangamata and Taupo was our midway stop on the way back down to Wellington. The suite was generous in size, very happy to have had air-conditioning as it was such a hot day when we stayed. Amazed the dvds were free to rent, also to have free broadband right there in our room....top notch! The staff were very friendly and we felt very welcome. Bed was very large - and very comfortable. We felt it was our own little palace with the spa bath in our private suite too. Thanks so much for your hospitality and great value for money. Hi We found the room was somewhat overpriced compared to other accommodation we have stayed in. We also were frustrated with the late night behaviour of three rooms in our vacinity, which we bought to the attention of the Manager.
