An international standard resort at one of South Island's prettiest lakes. Has a range of self-contained apartments, or hotel studio rooms. Our studio room was very well appointed - fabulous designer bathroom, comfortable furniture, and lake view. Removal of some ugly pine trees would improve the view. Advisable to make reservation for restaurant, which is open to public, and hotel guests don't appear to have any priority. Best breakfast ever. Will consider it as a good location for a symposium/conference. Only negative are the doors getting into hallway leaving little room to get into door of room...especially with baggage.
