  • The hotel was great but 1 of the 3 vouchers i used was not book despite an email i receive as confirmation from travel bug. Also, was told that i should have called copthorne for 3rd person on each room. Dont know why when voucher clearly states up to 3 person. Finally, the manager was trying to charge me for the 3rd person when he should be aware of the promotion the hotel was running that children 12 and under are free. He was even lecturing me about such deals. I was just to tired for a lengthy discussion. 1

  • Great place for families to stay, the pool and spa area was lovely. Room was not fancy but it was clean and basic, single cot for child (free of charge!) was set up when we arrived. Breakfast the next morning was simply amazing! would be keen again if there was a $99 special, not likely more. 5

  • We stayed for 2 nights over easter/husbands birthday in a seaview room (room 733). Nice place, a great base for exploring northland for the first time! positives: loved the breakfast, spa, view, staff, and little frogs :) negatives: shuttle was a little late (but free) room was very dark- not enough lighting, and room was the furthest away it could possibly be from main access point/lift! we paid the $150 deal per night ... And now i see there is a $99 offer advertised. After our stay & seeing the hotel, i would probably only pay the $99, even at peak time . 5

  • We had an awesome time at copthorne paihia..kids and adults enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was fabulous..we would have wanted to upgrde to a beachfront view as the deal offers a garden view and our view is somehow not a garden but shrubs but since it was easter, it was fully booked...zoe the receptionist was very helpful and accommodating also toni frm the dining area overall it was a vry good experience. 5

  • Four dollar surcharge to use credit card. $50 bond not refunded on departure due to "bank policy" couldn't sleep during the afternoon due to housekeeping staff yelling to each other down hallways. Breakfast very lack lustre. Breakfast staff all seemed to have better things to do, other than be helpful or polite. Nice room. Beautiful location. Price was good. Will go back if the opportunity arises, but don't hold out any expectations that service will be any better unfortunately. 1

  • Delayed check in as staff did not link 2 bookings made for 2 consecutive days under same name together. Travelbug did not have this option via grabone deal. Child bed was not ready despite being in request. Room ok but bathroom very dated with rusted door hinges and rotten wood at base. Service mixed. Some good some offhand. When we arrived we found we had beautiful seaview rooms!! the rooms were lovely, the service great and the breakfast brilliant.   • We stayed here on a deal and i thought it was great value for the money. Yes the rooms are a bit tired, but the hotel grounds, the pool, the resteraunt and the staff are fabulous. We ordered a twin room and when we went to the room it was a double, we went for a walk and miraculously when we got back it had turned into a twin. This would be a great get away for families with a real resort feel around the expansive pool area. 5

  • My elderly father and i stayed at copthorne in pahia last week. The staff were most pleasant and the breakfast was delicious. However, we both thought that the hotel itself was looking 'very tired', especially the wing we were in (602) with the carpet and outdoor railing badly in need of attention. The reception on the 'old' tv in our room was disgusting. Admittedly we had purchased a good deal but i'm sad to say that we were disappointed with the hotel as this was supposedly 4 star accommodation. . 1

  • We liked our stay here a lot. I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel which was of a higher level than i had expected from one in new zealand (we tried some so i can say). We stayed in ocean view superior room which had the biggest bed i`ve ever slept (it could accommodate 3 adults i guess;)) i would definitely recommend the hotel and stay again. 5

  • There was no internet in the rooms, only in the lobby - and even then it was limited to 20mins. This is not what i expected when i selected that criteria in travelbug! that felt a lot like false advertising. The hotel facilities (pool, restaurant, shuttle service, etc) were all very nice. However, we had quite a few issues with the room. For instance, house keeping: bed sheets had an unpleasant looking stain, towels were remove during cleaning but no clean towels were left, etc. The tvs in the room were very old and had very limited channels to choose from. . 1

  • Our stay at the copthorne was indeed lovely, due to the glorious weather. When making my booking i mentioned in the special comments that this was our mini honeymoon break but found that the king size bed in our room was indeed two singles pushed together. I would surely think that if offered a double room it should have at least have a queen or king bed in it. Also the one night we decided to eat at the restaurant and i ordered pan seared snapper which was brought to my table like a couple of pieces of cardboard, i was very disappointed. I sent the meal back to the kitchen and it never returned. (nb this was sorted and a free buffet breakfast was given for both myself and my husband) although this sounds negative the hotel is wonderful and the staff very friendly and would stay again. Didn't watch tv so wont comment but ceiling fan was a bit on the squeaky side. Thanks for a wonderful stay :). 5

Regarding the bed, the majority of our beds in the hotel are what we call Hollywood Split beds, these are beds that have a zip that join the two mattresses alowing them to be either a single or king.   • Extremely noisy room, could hear people closing doors in others rooms and coming up stairs, fans roaring? during night above the roof. Cold water on the first morning and no warning given to advise. Extremely old tv that cut off some movies frame, bathrm not cleaned properly, though rest rm was ok, bed comfortable. Reception lady on arrival & query of internet was rude, other staff were nice, breakfast nice with variety but found dirty plates 3 in a row, dinner mains average but again found dirty plates, felt rm was alittle mis-advertised, garden view being 3-4 trees upon which was more rms across, not close to township enough for walk for dinner elswhere etc, have used copthorne hotels before but would not stay at this one again. We stay 3 nights and dissappointed. . 1

  • Nice comfortable stay. Cooked breakfast was a good selection of hot and cold. Nice to have freshly cooked poached eggs rather than ones that have been sitting around a while. After paying $180 for the room they wanted $4 credit card charge on a $19 bar tab. No no no thats over 20% charge for that transaction. (visa credit card charges are around 2%). I know fees can be charged but its the little things like this that annoy a lot of people and this is what will stick in my mind and passed on to others. It has undone the ticks on the other side of the stay. 5

Regarding the credit card transaction fee, it is a flat rate of $4 charged on departure when settling by credit card. This was decided apposed to a percentage of the final account.   • We had a lovely stay at the copthorne.weather was not the best but we still enjoyed our stay.rooms were nice and clean and bed very comfortable.will be good when tvs are updated as it does not match the standard of the hotel.have to agree with other guest that a few plates and cutlery is badly needed.every staff member we met were very helpfull and friendly.we really enjoyed our breakfast and the buffet style breakfast was good too.overall a really positiv experience and a good deal.thanks copthorne and staff!!!!!! . 5

  • The room was clean although the tv was dated the staff were friendly although not nearly enough staff on duty to provide a full service as would be expected in a hotel of this standard. Had to wait 5 minutes in the bar before someone came to serve me. Also booked a table for dinner. Which was one of the worst dining experiences i have encountered - a long wait . Luke warm food and only the mitre d and one waitress to serve a full dining room resulted in a long wait for everything sitting surrounded by tables full of dirty plates from previous diners and who did not offer one apology for anything. In fairness to the reception staff. Whom were excellent, we were not charged for the meal, which was inedible. I have visited the copthorne waitangi before and had a fabulous time, so will give it another go otherwise would not have returned if thios had been my first visit. 1

  • Staff were pleasant and polite, facilities ok though a little dated. Breakfasts were disappointing, all food on cooked breakfast plate that came from kitchen was not freshly cooked. No buffet available because of so few poeple staying there, but the cook could have done better by cooking (eggs for example) as required rather than keeping them pre-cooked out the back. 5

  • Hotel has a great setting and whilst overall satisfied with my stay i was disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom which had several hairs in it. This was coupled with the two cups and teaspoons in the room still dirty from the previous occupants. These issues were brought to the attention of hotel staff and rectified. Pools and breakfast were great and whilst my stay didn't get off to a good start i would come back again. 5

  • We pre booked and stayed one night midweek. It's a beautiful setting but unfortunately on arrival early evening, we found our room to be very cold. The heater took hours to heat up to a comfortable temperature. No electric blankets were provided. My suggestion is on cold days, staff turn the heater on mid afternoon to ensure the room is warm and cosy by evening. Otherwise, very pleasant staff and surroundings. 1

  • Upside: The view was amazing and it was nice to have our own exit onto a little balcony outside our room. As smokers it was great not to have to trek all over the place just to have a ciggie, the bed was comfortable the bathroom came with a bath. Downside: the TV was small and very old (the screen went blue and orange from time to time) and there was no cutlery or plates (only glasses, mugs and teaspoons) which made eating our dinner a challenge!! All in all we had a nice stay. 5

  • Lovely hotel in a beautiful area. We took the advice of a previous comment and had dinner at Shippeys (fish & chips) - a short walk over the bridge. We enjoyed our stay very much but would agree with other comments that the television in the room certainly could do with upgrading! Staff were all friendly and helpful and we loved the bar and pool area, although we didn't use the pool. Thank you for a lovely stay. 5

  • Stayed Dec 22nd 2011.The staff are professional with genuine warmth in their service and conversation - very efficient and helpful. Continental breakfast delicious and generous, huge array of choice and plentiful. Chef on the egg station welcoming and an excellent job in assisting me with what to do. Rooms spacious,comfortable with fabulous sea view. Loved the resort. One frustration- when checking out @ noon, there was a line-up of 7 customers ( with children,partners, luggage etc ) and only one receptionist.Global clients as observed by their conversation and kiwi's. Clients were either checking out/finalising accounts or checking in. I waited approx 20 minutes in line - other staff passed by regularly, however no one came over or organised another receptionist to assist. It was frustrating and put a "downer" on an otherwise perfect stay. Could not a duty manager or another receptionist be found to clear the queue? Being from Auckland, I expect to queue up there but not in Pahia :) 5

  • The hotel and her surrounding was really fan/funtastic. Only incident was unfortunately occurred was whiltsing using the lower power point socket, located next to the study desk and TV set in room 322, my charger was found blown for charging my LG GW300 cell phone. As the upper one was low in voltages and the lower one was over. I just realised that the charger was blown after I checked out. I had replaced the mobile phone charger already. Paid 13.75 for it.   • Overall a good stay. the weather wasn't great but managed to make the most of it. a negative was not recieving our deposit back which we were asked to pay on arrival (which I am currently still chasing up).   • We had a very enjoyable stay - awesome deal on TravelBug! Nice room, great breakfast, upgraded to a water front room which was lovely. The only things we didn't like were the bathroom floor was reeeeeeeeeally slippery when wet, and as others have said, the bed was two singles pushed together which gave a crack in the middle... not the most comfy.   • Booked two nights for wife birthday. Requested seaview upgrade 3 months prior specifying occasion, but instead got one with palm tree in next to noisy pool with kids Cheap Complimentary Chocolate fish does not exactly say luxury specially if a chocolate factory is in the area Old Small CRT TV with only 6 channels. Lack of Wifi in room or if it was, I was not told about it on arrival. Requested queen/double bed instead got two single bed joined together. Either cuddle and suffer back pain in the morning or sleep seperate on "own" side. Not a good choice Toilet also did not seem clean Positive: 1)Good in service and dining food. 2)Free one hour bike ride, but bike handles were rusted which shows lack of maintainence 3)Friendly staff Disappointed they have great location which is not fully exploited. Would go back to Pahia but would prefer staying at competitors which look more modern. Had stayed Copthorne Masterton last year...it was way more fun Definately did not feel like 4 star resort, more like a motel. 1

  • Excellent stay in a beautiful location, we had a great deal and were delighted with the resulting service which was exceptional. Our room had a lovely sea view and was in excellent order. Dinner and breakfast was great, with a wonderful selection and the staff were excellent. My only slightly negative comment was that the car parking was a little tight and I'm not sure how it would cope when the hotel is full. That said we had a fantstic weekend and will look forward to returning soon. 5

  • I got my night through a Grab One deal that included the wine and breakfast for a really reasonable rate! The reception staff when we arrived were very plesant and helpful. The room was one of the older ones, but it was very comfortable, and having a little deck to sit on while reading and enjoying the bubbles in the afternoon was lovely. We spent an hour in the afternoon on the Sedgway - my only comment there is that it is promoted as a 'tour' and we visualised a trip up the hill at least, but it is in fact an hour on the hotel grounds only - fun, but a little dissapointing - and not specifically the hotels fault, but the person taking the booking could have made that clear at the time. Breakfast was great, one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had. I am looking forward to my next stay, which I hope to be in the warmer months when I can take advantage of the pool area and picnics on the grounds. 5

  • Overall pleasant, room clean and to required standard, service staff excellent to deal with and breakfast was good. My only comment would be that more thought needs to go into your carparking arrangements. My car alarm went off at 11pm and it was a long walk from the upper floor of the Hibiscus wing to where the car actually was hundreds of metres away. Walks to Waitangi and waterfront were nice, but the spa pool was out of service our entire stay which was disappointing.Otherwise- I would recommend the facility overall. 5

  • Great stay. Lovely sea view. All the staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I agree with others that the spa pool probably needs an overhaul and it would be nice if the spa pool area included the lower pond as well. (not the swimming pool, just the lower pond below the spa pool). I thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips in the bar area and we had the buffet dinner both nights which was well presented with a good selection. I thought the wine, at $11-$12 a glass was a bit steep even the Montana Chardonnay, usually an inexpensive wine, at $8.50 seemed a bit over the top. Bubbly and light chocolate fish went down a treat. Chocolates heavier than chocolate fish would have spoiled the freshness of the bubbly. Breakfast was ample and well presented. All in all most enjoyable, we will definitely be back.   • Simply great! We had a wonderful weekend in a more-than-adequate room and very pleasant surroundings. From the friendly staff to the tranquil grounds; it all combined to give us an enjoyable time that we will remember. Like others, we had the deal with the “bubbly and chocolates” – ours were waiting for us in our room and made for a lovely wind-down after a fairly energetic trip from Auckland. And as for breakfast… wow! It was delightfully delicious with great choice and again, very pleasant staff. Unfortunately, with my wife feeling a little “off-colour” and spending much of the day resting, we didn’t get to try the spa, experience the bikes or the evening meal at the restaurant. Some comments here suggest people may not have got what they expected but WE DID and are most grateful for the experience. Yes, we will return again one day and yes, we recommend others choose here for some extremely pleasant time out. Our thanks to the Copthorne team. 5

  • Unfortunately we didn't have a pleasant stay. The room was quite dated and run-down. On top of that the room wasn't very clean, there was hair in bathtub. The light in the bathroom barely lit the room and when you pulled the curtain to have a shower it was very dark indeed. Someone put two beer bottles in the freezer and they exploded. The liquid was all through the fridge and we asked the hotel reception to have it cleaned up. They did, but only what was visible. At the back it was still dirty and the beers were still in the freezer. The cleaners also tipped the liquid from the fridge in to the sink, but didn't rinse it off so when we return to the room there was unpleasant odour. Our deal included champagne and chocolates at the arrival and that didn't happen, we had to ask for it. The pool area was nice, but we didn't have chance to use it as we were staying only for one night. The buffet breakfast was nice. 1

  • What can we say. This was our second stay at the Copthorne. The buffet breakfast was delicious. The bikes, although a little older were great for a ride into town and back. The spa could have been a few degrees warmer, which seemed to be the consensus amoung the others in the spa at the time. The room was clean and comfortable, however I would have to say that next time we would pay a little extra to once again have the water view, as those rooms come with a 'sitting area' and have a much more pleasent outlook than our room which looked over the tennis court. Having said that, this was our Four trip in total to Paihia, and next time we will again choose the Copthorne. Steve was great, really helpful and entertaining in the process, especailly when he shared his kayaking trip with us. Cannot recommend enough. Lovely place to stay. Cant wait for our next mini holiday. 5

It may need an upgrade in the near future as its starting to look a bit worn but it was clean and comfortable.Do the walk to Haruru Falls.   • Deal was pretty good. Lovely location and clean and fresh. Had a nice stay despite average weather. It was a bit of a shame though that so many corners were cut making the deal seem not so good. When we though of "chocolates" in the deal we didn't expect Chocolate Fish! The spa pool wasn't hot enough and when we asked it to be turned up staff didn't know how to. And we couldn't use the "one hour bike hire" we had two of because there were four of us and only three bikes. It was a shame since it put us off ever going back, but overall we enjoyed ourselves. 1

Everything was clean and well cared for, food and room service were great. Only grumbles were that the TV was pretty close to reaching antique status (but that wasn't really why we came, so no big there) and unfortunately, it was lousy weather so we didn't get to enjoy the rest of the pools.   • We really enjoyed our stay. We requested a roll-away bed for our daughter but she had a very comfortable single bed with inner-sprung mattress (better than expected). Chocolates and chilled bubbles were waiting in our room on arrival. All staff very friendly and great customer service. Lovely main foyer/bar with beautiful artwork on display - very welcoming. Lovely lagoon pool setting, though pools not heated, we enjoyed a soak in the spa. Building does need upgrading/maintenance but it is clean, tidy and quite spacious. We enjoyed the buffet breakfasts & the poached eggs were cooked to perfection on both mornings of our stay. We look forward to visiting again in warmer weather so we can take more advantage of the pools and outdoor dining areas. 5

  • The hotel is listed as four star. The service and food are four star but not the building. It is clean and comfortable and has had some refurbishment but it is in need of a full internal refit to bring it up to standard. Having said that however it is the only negative thing I have to say about our weekend stay. Finding the hotel was easy and the location is excellent. Great views over the Bay, close to Pahia but far enough away to feel we really had 'got away from it all'. The room was reasonably sized, clean and with bubbles and chocolates a welcome sight after driving up from Auckland. The bed was big enough to house a family of four and so comfortable we didn't want to leave it, however the call of the restaurant was more than enough. We tried the buffet and al a carte and on each occasion the food was superb and served by helpful, smiling staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and can;t wait to go back with the kids and enjoy the pools. 5

The room was okay although a little tired and there were no electric blankets on the bed (yes it was still chilly!), but otherwise nice enough. I think the TV was about 20 years old. We had to ask for our complimentary champagne and chocolates though (and yes, chocolate fish wasn't what I was expecting either!). Yes the bikes were all hired out when we were there too.   • Had a lovely time at the The Copthorne Resort Bay of Islands. It was a fantastic deal with Bubbly and Chocolates and of course a wonderful cooked Breakfast. Our room (131) had wonderful sea view. It will be great if the hotel could offer free Wi-Fi and perhaps could do with a little refurbishing. Great atmosphere, highly recommended and would certainly return. 5

  • We enjoyed the stay. Staff were very friendly & helpful which made for a great experience. This particular copthorne is not as modernised as some others, but then that is also part of it's charm. We had a seaward side room, and the view was excellent, especially watching the steam rise from the sea as the sun rose. The only problem we experienced was a problem with the hot water due to exceptional circumstances the morning of checkout, however the hotel was gracious enough to discount the bill. Really, we could not have asked for more given the deal we got, - though we probably wouldn't book at the full rate. 5

  • I purchased the deal for my mum and her partner for a birthday weekend away. Unfortunately the bikes were all hired out for Saturday due to the amount of people who also booked the same package and the weather turned nasty on Sunday so they didn't get to use them. I was also a bit surprised to hear the complimentary box of chocolates was chocolate fish. Would have thought it would have been something more like a box of roses or similar. They enjoyed their stay and would be happy to return. For a gift though I probably wouldn't bother with the package deal again and just get them a room instead. 5

  • Enjoyed the stay, I was part of a large family/friends group. The food quality and choice was great, however the spa was freezing and the room was showing its age with a fitting above one of the windows completely missing and the out door furniture was covered in bird droppings, surely these can be washed and then leaned against the railing to avoid the bird mess? The Segway ride was great however the instructor smoking on the job wasn't! 5

However, although our room in garden view area was clean, it is in desperate need of an update. Disappointed no electric blankets and was told it was a health and safety issue but can't accept that as nobody seemed to worry about sparrows in the dining room which is more of a health issue in my opinion. Dirty smudge marks on our bathroom door and could do with a general spruce up but a great location. 5

  • Really good stay. Used the mystery deal on Travelbug which provided really good value. Sea View rooms were great, plenty of room and really nice and tidy. Staff all friendly. Had the buffet breakfast and some room service, both were good quality. TV Guide & room Service Menu in the rooms would be good. Outdoor Spa was not that hot, but was aware of that from other reviews on here. All in all it was a great winter getaway from Auckland. Would definitely stay again! 5

  • View was lovely but unfortunately our stay was ruined by being placed in a room that was surrounded by several rooms of teenagers ! We had to put up with banging doors & comings & goings in the corridor outside our room when trying to sleep. Then again the next morning with loud voices & the room next door playing a saxophone. A real shame our stay was ruined by a group of inconsiderate people. 1

Steve White was very accommodating - allowing us to take up our room earlier than normal check in due us us having travelled from Auckland International Airport during the early hours of the day of arrival as we had just arrived home from Tonga. The stay was perfect - the view amazing - thank you guys so much for a lovely interlude to our holiday. I would recommend your site and the Hotel to anyone of our friends.   • We enjoyed our stay at the Copthorne and would try a luxury room next time...maybe. Technology needs to be looked at with this Hotel, things like flat screen TVs (not an old cheap LG), new phones (the one we had was literally falling to bits, had to hold it together as it was used, both computers in the lobby were out of order, they were old PCs with average screens (a couple of nice Mac computers wouldn't go amiss). Come on Copthorne..upgrade... it's 2011! We have better electronics at home. The service in the Restaurant and bar was excellent and the meals were great. Excellent holiday location. 5

  • The hotel is excellent except for the rooms (if ours was typical) which are in need of serious refurbishment - both structure and furnishings. "Shabby Chic" is not an acceptable look for a 4 star hotel. 1

  • Very pleasant hotel and staff, however please note this hotel does not have air con in the bedrooms. Therefore you are at risk of extreme heat in a north facing room especially on the second floor which contains the solar panels on the roof. Sandwiched between hot air from the floor below and a hot roof, Our room was like an oven!. However the staff moved us to a cool south facing ground floor room for the final nights.   • A very special place to return for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We loved the room, and spectacular sea views. The buffet dinner, and breakfast were great, as was the service. We really appreciated the extra mile the staff went to make our night special. I agree with previous comments that the breakfast chef could be more available to prepare eggs as customers arrive. We would have loved to have had a spa, especially after a swim in the pool, however it was full. It would be really great to have several spas. 5

As our pool is solar heated along with a number of water falls, we can not always ensure that the temperature is a desirable one, however the spa pool temperature is monitored to remain at the comfortable temperature of about 32 degrees Celsius.   • The pool was freezing yet advertised as "heated" my kid was gutted, also we had breakfast only once, there was no cook in attendance, the bacon and sausages were cold and the cooked poached eggs were on offer were cold and cooked ages ago. I will never stay here again as long as I live. 1

  • We had a really lovely room, the reception staff were very helpful. The food in the restaurant was of a very high standard. The only downfall was the cocktail I had before dinner. I ordered a Passionfruit Caprioska and it was possibly the worst cosktail I had ever had. There was no fresh lime in it, i thiink theu used lime cordial. The ice lime and sugar definitely hadn't been muddled. For the price, I would have expected much better. Overall though, out stay was good value for money 5

  • Lovely place. Really enjoyed it. Because we got a special we enjoyed going to breakfast in the morning. Gorgeous breakfast. Dinner and lunch was too expensive for us. Tv reception in lounge was bad as wanted to catch up on cricket. Couldnt.Could never get a park near our room and yet their was so much land around. Staff pleasant and helpful. Would reccommend to people but only if they had money. Cheers. 5

  • The garden room was well presented and the availability of a laundry and portable cot were appreciated by this young family. Lack of internet in rooms and exorbitant cost per minute in the main lounge was both a surprise and a disappointment. When wireless internet is available in most cafes with the purchase of a coffee one woudl expect this as a free service in a hotel such as this. Big negative for future business function plans. 5

  • We managed to get in to the 72hr sale so it was excellent value. Travelling with overseas guests we were able to walk to the Treaty Grounds. The only negative comment our American cousins had was that we had smokers in one of the downstairs rooms and as they stood outside their room and smoked, we got the after-affects. Next time I'll request downstairs or single storey. 5

  • We had a lovely stay (for 3 people) in a waterview room- the balcony provided perfect veiws towards the bay and Treaty grounds. The only confusion which arose was that the accommodation booking was for 3 people, but this only covered breakfast meals for 2. We would certainly use this base again- very comfortable & convenient for seeing the historic houses in the region. 5

  • Great get away from the busy city life, Fantastic views, grounds, breakfast, staff and rooms. We enjoyed our time at this Hotel and Resort, the only thing that let us down was the problem with the mosquitoes at night!! We stayed 2 nights in a Garden View Room and we were constantly killing mosquitoes that would some how get threw the windows and door. We do recommend this Hotel and Resort to people just try not to go during Spring.lol 5

A great get-away from the busy working life here in Auckland (I love Auckland!!! - dont get me wrong LOL) I paid $119 for 2 people per night and I got unlimited breakfast - GREAT VALUE!!! Tip: Organise your room well in advance and call them to confirm your room and times (2 or more times) in order to check in on time as this was the only let down for me. 5

Great value for money as had a spring special deal room ( for 2 ) and full buffet breakfast for $119.00 a double. Could not fault the service or facilities. Will definately return to this upgraded refreshed hotel in the Bay of Islands. Rate stay 9.5 / 10 . Lost .5 points as internet to room was $5.00 for 20 minutes. 5
