  • I came up to stay with my daughter, a uni student, after she had surgery and needed a place to recover before heading back to her hall of residence. Staff were helpful and genuinely caring. The facilities were excellent - i was able to escape to the pool, spa, cafe or fitness room - even a few shops because they were so nearby - whenever my daughter was sleeping. The beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious and clean and the food excellent. Thanks so much for going the extra distance to make our stay comfortable and easy over what was a rather difficult time. 5

  • Good stay! breakfast was delicouis! heard loads of noice all night from the drunks coming down the street but i guess that cant be helped in the middle of tow. Room was lovely & clean - great swim in the spa (pool a little chilly for the kids) could have had better instructions from reception on how to get to our room from the carpark - we spent a wee while going up & down lifts. But overall we would stay again! thanks for the great deal on treatme!. 5

  • While the staff were great our late check out which was part of our deal was really spoilt by trademen wanting to get into our room. They said they would try not to be long but twice my husband told them firmly that we would be out shortly so we left early. Then we couldn't get out as they were doing stuff to the lift so it was a very stressful morning and a sad way to end our holiday. . 1

  • Fantastic value break thanks to travelbug's secret sale. Loved the huge room on the 8th floor, 2 huge beds, flatscreen, kitchenette and view over wellington. Got there early and no trouble parking in underground car park at $20 a night. One of best breaks we've ever had. Only thing to be picky about was that wi-fi only in reception area which was rather cold. Also forgot my swimming costume so couldn't sample pool! location, right on cuba street, amazing. 5

  • Loved our stay which was in a suite with two queen size beds and plenty of room. Also loved the location as there was plenty of choice for places to eat closeby especially when the weather is wet and cold. Unfortunately we did hear every sound coming from the hallway outside and during the evening some kids were running around on the floor above and they sounded like a herd of elephants. Luckily it was not too late at night. I think the soundproofing would be a major concern if the hotel was busy. . 5

  • This hotel would have to be one of the nicest i have stayed in. It was clean, new, very comfortable and excellent value for money. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending this hotel.   • Had a great room, large with kitchenette, but no air con could make your stay uncomfortable if you dont like the heat! Very close apartment block close by rules out opening the windows, however for the price I would stay again. Very clean with great facilities. 5

  • Fantastic hotel. Big rooms with two queen sized beds. A small kitchenette was brilliant to give my children some breakfast. No air conditioning was my only disappointment. It is at the top of Cuba Street so an easy walk down to a good aray fo restaurants. We stayed with 4 children over two rooms. They loved the pool and spa. Definitely would stay again. 5

  • Lovely spacious corner room on the 6th floor.Very impressed with room but was disappointed to find no airconditioning.Very noisy with windows open, especially when the rubbish was collected early am. Still, it was a good location and I would stay again. 5

Just one grumble, when using the computer at reception it was extremely slow when queried if this was normal with one of the front desk ladies she just replied "didn't know" without offering any assistance .. we eventually just gave up! 5

  • Room and bed generally good. Disappointed at early close-down of the bar/cafe. Following singing in a concert on Saturday night, I was looking forward to a reward. But, at 9:50 pm they turned us away, as the Bar was closing at 10pm. By the time we went up to our room, it still wassn't 10 o'clock! Amazing!! 3

Had all the mod cons, but was really disappointed that they had advertised room service but didn't actually have it during our stay, when I asked about it I was told 'they just weren't doing it' at the moment. Was really annoyed about it actually, felt misled. Other than that a nice hotel. 5

We enjoyed our stay our room was large and spacious with everything we required at a reasonable rate and centrally located to enjoy cuba street cafes, restaurants and fantastic shopping. Only disappointment was we requested spa bath in our room on booking although this wasn't supplied so suggest if you are staying to confirm all your requirements are providable before committing to stay.   • The hotel had only just opened and in our opinion should not have been opened. We booked a room with a spa, but aparently all the spas were broken so get put in another room and were not told of this until our arrival and were still charged the same amount! No room serivce or tea or coffee provision either - would not recomend!! 1
