Beachcomber Motel is situated in Salisbury Road, directly across from, a beautiful sandy Gisborne beach.
14 units some with seaviews and all with direct access to Waikanae Beach a safe and sandy beach. We are close to the Olympic Pool, golf courses, CBD, restaurants, RSA and Cosmopolitan Club. Walk into town along the foreshore and river walkway. Studio and 1 bedroom units most with King beds. Wireless broadband and internet kiosk in the office. Sky TV, laundry and courtesy car. All rooms designated non-smoking. Free off street parking.

Very accomodating and helpful host. We stayed in the Studio. Only niggles: Positioning of items in room could have been improved; TV to left of bed which meant sore neck to view it. (TV fuzzy reception). Otherwise generally good and clean unit. Thanks.

Second time we've stayed in 12 month - probably says it all. Modern appointments, great bathroom and kitchen. All round convenience for the recreational traveller. And HD TV!!! Value for money. Highly recommended. +++

Beachcomber Motel was a very comfortable motel to stay our room was a bit dated but owner is going to refurbish in the near future as he has done to other rooms. Motel owners were very welcoming and nice people. We would recommend this motel to all. Earl and Cheryl Hay

We had been up-graded an it was AWESOME!!! Polite, friendly staff, next time we're in Gizzy we will definitely consider staying here again!!! Can rant & rave about our hosts, but life's too short and that's something other visitors can, & will experience!! Thank you very much for an easy stay, hope everything goes well!!! A+++ recommended!!!
