Luxurious accommodation and a superb location. Pacific Harbour Motor Inn offers a range of comfortable air conditioned units for their guests.
Overlooking the palm lined Turanganui River and inner harbour marina, you are only a minute or two's walk from the wharf side restaurants and café bars as well as the centre of town. The Captain Cook monument and beautiful sun drenched Waikanae Beach are only a short stroll away. The river walkway is close at hand to start a relaxing stroll.

I went to gisborne at short notice and pacific harbour was my first choice. Internet booking was confirmed within minutes. The welcome was friendly; the room was clean and very comfortable; the shower was great (my measure of a good motel room) and the room was also quiet. No trouble getting reception to organise taxis and the motel is easy walking distance to the great ruba cafe where i was meeting friends. The room that i stayed in was very comfortable, excellent value for money, good location with cafes in close walking distance. Karen & graham are wonderful hosts and graham cooks a mean breakfast. I will definately stay again next time i am in gisborne.

Great stay. Excellent one bedroom unit, which was great to have, as the space was useful, due to my sister and husband also staying, [in a studio]. Could use our space for the four of us. Great location, so close to the cbd, and food outlets as well. Very good hosts; the best in the bay. We visit gisborne often so we will be back. Recommended to us by a friend who had stayed at the property. A great decision to listen to him. Thanks folks. .

When we booked the accommodation with Travelbug we did not expect to find a bug in the room, in the form of a cockroach. This was pointed out to the person who checked us out on departure and his comment was "that he would have to spray the room again" Not very professional considering the rate that you have to pay, $160 per night. Definitely not value for money and I would hesitate to recommend the place.

In response to your comments we would like to advise that we do maintain a regular pest control spraying program for the entire complex. Unfortunately this does not stop bugs of some description entering the units from time to time in which case we follow up with a treatment in the individual units. Despite this we hope you enjoyed your visit to Gisborne. Graham and Karen
