Manapouri Holiday Houses are the perfect base for a Fiordland stay.
Moments walk from each home to the Doubtful Sound departure and the Manapouri Lakeshore. Enjoy the numerous activities on offer in the region and experience the magnificent Fiordland National Park at close hand. Stay in one of our relaxing, sunny houses surrounded by spectacular scenery and savour the tranquillity of the many acres of native bush and bird life of this World Heritage area. Each house is self-contained, independent and have private gardens ideal for families. They are homely, warm, fully furnished and include many modern conveniences. All linen is provided.
Fiordland Holiday HOUSES are located conveniently close to the lake front and town shops and can accommodate small or large groups and a variety of budgets. We are family friendly and will do our best to accommodate your requests.

Just stayed a night at "Glendale". What a great spot! It has awesome views from every window. As mentioned it does have steep steps, but other than it its a great house with lots of character. The house is situated above the start of the Doubtful Sound cruises, so its the perfect spot to use as a base.
