We enjoyed our stay. There was a mix up between Travel Bug and booking with the Hotel, they were not expecting us. It was quickly sorted by the staff. As I am a keen All Black fan. Nice location and reasonable rooms but a little on the expensive side also breakfast was very nice except for the RANCID coffee in pots on our table !

It was well kept, and the customer service was excellent. The rooms were mostly renovated, but even the parts that were not were clean. I would recommend this hotel, though the price is high compared to equivalent level hotels elsewhere in the South Island.
