Arran Motel Te Anau is in a beautiful quiet area on Quintin Drive just two minutes walk from Lake Te Anau, but sheltered from the lake breezes, and a short walk to the town centre and local restaurants.
Arran Motel Te Anau is the perfect accommodation base to visit the World famous Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound or to prepare for the spectacular Milford & Routeburn tracks. Te Anau is the closest town to Milford Sound. We can assist with your booking excursions while in Te Anau. We have FREE unlimited wireless internet in the unit for our guests.
Arran Motel Te Anau offers as new self contained apartment accommodation, self catering one & two bedroom units, if you require we can provide continental breakfast if bed & breakfast options are required.
We have seven modern studio units and six spacious family units - two with two bedrooms and four with one bedroom. The family units all have kitchens. All units are ground floor and non-smoking, and the 1 and 3 bedroom units are double-glazed.
Things to do in the area:
• Visit Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound
• Cruise on Lake Te Anau to the Te Anau Caves,
• Tramp the famous Milford Track (dubbed 'the Finest walk in the World')
• World class Kepler, Hollyford and Routeburn Tracks

Had a great stay in Te Anau. Friendly hosts, clean rooms - and the studio room with kitchenette was ample for our needs. I concur with an earlier review that says it boasts one of the best showers you'll have in NZ

Low cost, reflected in the fit-out of the unit. No proper kitchen facilities- washing up in the bathroom sink not too good these days. Altogether pretty moderate.

The furnishings were a little spare but good value for the price. Beds were comfortable and bathroom seemed brand new.

Very good value, nice friendly hosts. Very clean. nice showers and linen. We enjoyed using the barbeque and eating at the outside table.
