The Village Inn Hotel, Te Anau provides quality accommodation to suit every need. This modern and unique hotel creates a feeling of 'stepping back in time' with its carefully recreated Pioneer Village facades and is within walking distance of the lake shore and town centre.
Our rooms are spacious and come equipped with private ensuite with bath and shower, queen size beds, electric blankets, hairdryers and irons, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, refrigerator, television and in-house video.
Kitchen units are available, as well as family units which comprise 2 inter-connecting rooms, each with full bathroom facilities, sleeping 5-6 people.
Our luxury suite includes CD player and spa tub, and we also have a room with facilities for the disabled. There is also a laundry room for guest use, ample car parking and a tour desk.
Te Anau is only 2 hours drive from Queenstown and an ideal base for exploring the southern South Island of New Zealand. Gateway to Fiordland World Heritage Park, Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound and the world famous Milford Track.

Wow what a great find, stayed in te anau many times before and never knew this existed! lovely large room, very clean, and great breakfast. Would definately be my first choice next time i stay in te anau. .

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Village Inn. Rooms were roomy and adequate and within easy walking distance to town shops and eateries. Staff were friendly. Great place to stay as doorstep to Milford Sound

We were very pleased with the accommodation at Village Inn. While the exterior decor is a bit strange, the room was very large with a spacious bathroom and kitchenette. I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the entire room. The staff was also very helpful. We showed up for breakfast at 9am, not realizing that that was when service stopped. They very willingly allowed us to stay and provided great service.
