With the backdrop of Te Mata Peak behind us, we are situated right in the heart of Havelock North Village. Only 20 metres from excellent restaurants, cafes, bars and the picturesque "Village" shopping centre - no need to drive.
14 superior architecturally designed units, serviced daily with 2 upstairs air-conditioned units. 7 studio sleep 2-3, 5 x 1 bedroom sleep 3 - 4. These units have a seperate lounge area for relaxing, 2 x 2 bedroom sleep 4 - 6. 2 units with access facilities. Fully equipped kitchens, microwave, fridge, shower, hair dryer, spa baths (7 units), phone, Sky TV, electric blankets, heating, iron and ironing board, heated towel rails. Cot and high chair available. Cooked/continental breakfasts to units, guest laundry, secure parking.
Local attractions include boutique wineries where you can sample outstanding Hawke's Bay wines and fine eateries. There are craft outlets, superb Keirunga gardens as well as sightseeing and walkways from Te Mata Peak. We're only a 5 minute drive to Hastings entertainment centre "Splash Planet", with Napier City - Art Deco capital of the world - on our doorstep.

Having stayed around the corner in a 5 star motel, we thought this apartment was comparable (although it did not have an oven). The rooms were spacious and very clean. The location of the Havelock North Motor Lodge is great - right in the middle of town but without noisy passing traffic. We were able to walk just across the road and have a range of options for dinner. Reception was friendly and helpful when we urgently needed to get documents scanned and emailed.

Very helpful particularly changing our booking to the adjoining unit next to my cousin when I was unaware she was staying at the same motel. Comfortable and particularly handy to the town centre.
