It would be fine iif you didn't have kids, but it's not suitable for young children (low cupboards full of breakables, exposed heating, very small). A little attention to detail would make it better for grown ups too - most of the problems are easily fixed - but it took over 15 minutes to get into napier and was smaller than we had anticipated. Easily fixed problems - the wattage in all the bulbs was too low so we couldn't read in the living room, all the remote control batteries were running out, the large dog was running free so i wasn't comfortable to have the kids outside, the milk we were given had been expired over a week. It was warm though and a picturesque setting and had sky including sports. It could be absolutely fine for grown ups with just a little more care.

This is a very nice, quiet place to stay within a short drive to Napier. The owners were very welcoming. Good value for a family group or a group of three or four.

Vineyard cottage was a lovely spot to stay. The cottage was clean and well maintained. It was great to be able to have a bit of space for myself, my husband and our one-year old to relax in. The cottage is surrounded by vines and is a quick drive into Napier. The owners were very helpful and welcoming.
