The Bluewater Hotel, launched in 1999 for the new millennium and located in the rejuvenated Ahuriri quarter, is the perfect place to stay in Hawke's Bay.

Stay was awesome. everything was perfect. if there was any complaint it would be that the bed was a little too hard for my lady. other than that? perfect.

There advertising is a bit misleading when it states the room with a king bed (Superior Room). I decided to shout my partner a weekend away. What I thought was a king bed, ended up being two single beds zipped together. It wouldn't be so bad if the beds were at the same height.

Great place to stay - very well located close to Ahuriri. I would imagine it would be party central on a busy night judging by the Boogie Bus and stretched hummer parked outside. Lucky for us we were there on a quiet night and had a great stay.

Ok hotel, room was very clean and adequate. Bathroom seemed pretty dated, and some mould on rough silicon rims which wasn't very inviting. Noisy neighbours next door, which was definitely not the hotel's fault but made the romantic getaway I planned pretty useless. I planned to book an upgraded room but they were not available anymore due to a special promo (not advertised on their own website). Restaurant was nice but the management should know better then to tell staff off, in hearing reach of their customers. The Mini golf in front of the room within 2 m reach was a bit close for comfort. Overall ok, not enough for me to book again though.

The room was generally OK but had only one lounge chair for two people. WE went to the restaurant for a cup of coffee but they had no decaff coffee.

Nice place, handy to everything but not noisy at night, clean and the little balcony is great.

We stayed here for 1 night on the 30th Dec and found it to be as good of a standard as last time.Great serveice at the counter and when I went to have a Beer, the service was excellent.Had a meal of fish and chips and watched the ships in the harbour.I like to stay here and it is our favourite place since we come from Palmy which doesn't have much and especially not a harbour.
