Clive Colonial Cottages

We were proudly named TOP PICK for the Hastings District in the 2010 Lonely Planet guide for New Zealand. Our three lovely cottages, built in 2009, offer affordable boutique self catering accommodation in the heart of the Hawkes Bay. Just 10 minutes from the main centres of Napier, Hastings and Havelock North means you are not far away from the many attractions and activities that the region offers.

The three stand alone colonial styled cottages are named after the native birds whom flutter and sing in the stunning formal garden courtyard or in the adjacent serene woodland.

* Bellbird Cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms,

* Fantail Cottage sleeps two in an open plan studio cottage, and

* Tui Cottage also offers an open plan studio cottage suitable for two.

Each cottage is well equipped having their own kitchenette with hob and microwave, walk-in shower room, Freeview TV, DVD player, wireless internet connection, ipod docking station/speakers, luggage storage, quality linen, and complimentary bathroom supplies from the wonderful Koha Spa range.

Guests are welcome to use our games room complete with pool table, darts, library, magazines and large DVD Library. Plus there is a lovely relaxing BBQ area with giant chess and petanque.

For those keen to take in the local vineyards, then why not try it by bike. The Rotary Pathway is just a minute from our door and runs right past the four local vineyards. We have bikes available for our guests. Or, maybe a just a walk along the beach to catch the first light of a new day... just a two minute walk away.

The cottages are self catering, with complimentary first morning breakfast provisions provided along with complimentary tea and coffee facilities.
