Just what i needed as a place to rest head on drive to auckland. Basic but clean, tidy, adequate, and secure. Extra effort made by staff to ensure i had a easy after-hours arrival. .

The double room with ensuite is small but good value for budget accomadation handy to town,probably would stay again.

I stayed 4 nights, room suited my needs well with shared toilet and bathroom. Staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended. .

Beste Übernachtungsmöglichkeit die wir in Neuseeland hatten. Alles war sehr sauber und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Einziges Manko war, dass für das Gepäck (wir sind mit Rucksäcken gereist) nicht wirklich viel Platz war. Würden defitiv wieder hier Übernachten.

Really handy to town and easy to find. Our room and ensuite were very clean...but very tiny! Really tricky to manouver around each other in the room itself which was also lacking something comfortable to sit on. Also, as the bed was very soft and wobbly it was not suitable for sitting on either. Good shower and plenty of hot water though. Stayed four nights and had to keep asking for clean towels. Manageress a bit vague and not entirely present. Apart from all that Astro still offers very good value accommodation in a tourist town known for overcharging visitors.
