Very little positive to say about this place. No dinner plates, no milk, old soap in the shower. We told reception but they were not inclined to listen. Wouldnt use huka falls resort again but pleased to see some people enjoyed their stay there.

Only stayed one night as we were just travelling through but wished we were staying for longer! we stayed in one of the villas with two teenage kids and found our rooms beautifully clean and comfortable. Beds were amazing! beautiful views and setting. Would definitely recommend :).

We where surprised at the noise you could hear from the other room, we came down with another couple, they had children in the other room so was a 5.30 start for them both mornings. When we saw our rooms we asked for a upgrade, prepared to pay the extra, but told all booked out. The people in the next room booked out saturday morning and was left empty. Would have been idea for us. Also went to reception and asked for a toaster.. Was told no none. The cleaning staff where fantastic and even found us a toaster, without any trouble. I think when people are booking the booking staff should advise options, coming down as two couples the villa and suite, would have worked well for us. Or other villa types, i must admit i did not find the reception staff helpful. And was unhappy with our room, i would never come and stay in the suites again.. Not a happy stay.

Without a doubt huka falls resort is the best value accomodation in taupo. I've stayed at a few others but nothing else compares. Well done to the staff.

We stayed here with our two young toddlers and were pleased that there was plenty of space for them to play. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed and we would be happy to say here again in the future.

We have stayed in 4 other places in TAUPO the last 3 years and this one is the best so far. The rooms are clean and new, separated in units of 2. A little bit in the country side and very close to the river and town. It was quiet during our 3 days stay. I will book here again.
