Welcome to The Cove Taupo, New Zealand.
A perfect lakefront location The Cove invites you to sit on the sun drenched deck and capture all the views before you including the ranges and the inviting, stunning Lake Taupo or why not soak, relax and explore the hot, natural, mineral waters nearby.
The Cove prides itself on quality service that ensures your stay is memorable and focuses on great hospitality. We have 12 suites all with thermal spas, and 4 studio units complete our range of quality accommodation to suit any need. Excellent facilities and suites that are comfortable while allowing your stay to be enjoyable, and truly relaxing.
All our suites are well appointed with super king beds, ensuites and private thermal spa on the deck in your suite. If you require extra beds for family and friends please advise us and we can assist.

We booked a studio room (#15)which was rather small but comfortable, and also had the advantage of an outside balcony with good views down the lake toward two mile bay. Not all studio units have balconies. Located on the lakeside, there is direct access to the walking path along the lake edge. There is an on-site restaurant, however this appears to have not operated for some time, which is a pity as the location and views are superb. A good comfortable motel with a reasonable room rate and operated by helpful and friendly staff, would definitely stay again.

Very small studio, Clean and tidy although had to sit on the bed to watch tv and tea and coffee facilities were at shoulder height. The only bug bear was the driveway lights outside the unit two of them,
