Great hosts went over and above letting us check in early so we didn't have to worry about our bags in the car. Very comfortable motel to stay in. This is our second visit in 6 weeks for an overnight stay. Handy to town, Would recommend.

Clean, comfortable, well-equiped, a nice location, a warm welcome and good local knowledge about places to eat. This was our first night in motels this time and completely spoilt us for the rest of the trip!

Excellent service from the moment we entered the reception area until we handed in the key at the end of our stay. The unit was spacious and spotlessly clean with nice furnishings and linen. I would not hesitate to recommend the Acapulco Motor Lodge to anyone and will be staying there on any future trips to Taupo.

Very happy with our night at Acapulco. Not the most modern motel, but it was all good value at $105 for the night. Everything was clean and tidy and the free access to wireless internet was handy. Also had a pleasant evening meal at the "Crooked Door" restaurant which was about 500 metres away so we were able to walk over and enjoy a wine or two with dinner, and not worry about driving. Very relaxing. Would definitely stay again.

What wonderful hosts so friendly and obliging. We only had one night and it was at the last minute so the studio room we had was sufficient for our needs. The room was very clean and tidy and of course the location was so central. Will return to Acapulco if we need to visit Taupo again.

A fantastic place to stay. Quiet, clean and well located. We loved our stay here and we'll definitely be back again. The hosts are friendly and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

Awesome place would recommend, when we arrived owners were very friendly and the units were beautiful and clean and very inviting. Would definately go back again. Thank you for a enjoyable weekend
