Birchlands Motel

Birchlands Motel offers comfortable and affordable accommodation, just 2 minutes walk to the lake front and five minutes to the central business district.

We have a choice of one or two bedroom units, all with separate lounge / sleeping areas, a fully equipped kitchens, heat pump and private rear patio areas. Free WiFi available with all reservations. All units are family friendly and ground based and face directly towards the mountains across Lake Taupo, looking over Kaimanawa Reserve. Relax and read a book or just watch the many various activities on or over the lake.

Birchlands Motel is a family friendly motel, and can supply a cot to families with young children, and highchair assistance. The reserve directly across the road is an ideal safe playing area for parents and children alike.

Pets are also welcome, by arrangement. They must be toilet trained, and bring their own bedding. A $20.00 cash soiling deposit will be payable to reception on check in, refundable on check out.

Leave your car in the car park and take a two minute walk to the lakefront, a two minute walk to the local supermarket, a five minute walk to the town center. Cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, clubs, nightclubs are all within easy walking distance.

Secure indoor parking is available for Motorbikes by arrangement, and we have off street parking available for boat / trailer parking.
