Comfort Inn Cascades has 24 spacious, quiet and comfortable units situated between Lake Terrace and the shores of beautiful Lake Taupo. Set in lovely grounds with a heated pool, spa pool and plenty of parking.
Comfort Inn Cascades is a lakeside motor lodge (no roads to cross) catering to families, corporate guests, school groups, couples and an ideal location for several families to come together for family reunions etc.
Our lakeside unit opens onto a fabulous Lake Taupo beach. All other units have direct access from the complex onto the beach which is perfect for swimming , boating, walking or cycling along the paved lakeside walkways.
Free wifi, BBQ's, SKY TV. Some family rooms have two TV's and two bathrooms.
Situated on the Lake Terrace, we are moments away from local tourist attractions, restaurants, adventure parks, and shopping.
Make sure you allow plenty of time to see the many attractions including the Huka Falls, Tongariro Crossing, Craters of the Moon, Wairakei Natural Thermal Valley, Orakei Koraki, and world-reknown Wairakei International Golf Course.
We can take care of all your Taupo Adventure bookings complimentary prior to or during your stay. We can also arrange and book tours for you in Rotorua and Tauranga, our neighbouring cities, which are only a short distance away from Taupo.

Hello Lesley It was a pleasure to host your family over Ironman. You must have been so proud of Megan, she must have been proud of herself! Had a wonderful stay at the Comfort Inn Cascades, everything at your fingertips, Alister and Charlene lovely friendly hosts. Clean units grear parking and a gorgeous view of the lake. All 5 of us will be back and we highly recommend:-)

Enjoyed our stay thanks very much & will definitely look to come back for longer next summer. Friendly hosts & atmosphere, clean units & great location on the lake front. Kids loved the pool/spa & trampoline. Only one very small downside was constantly having to prevent our busy 3yr old from leaning over the balcony on the mezzanine floor in the family units.

Really liked our stay at Cascades, the owners were nice and straight forward to deal with. The room was tidy and found it great that there were extra pillows available (this has been something other motels i have stayed at seem to miss). Liked how big the pool was and how it was heated. would definetly stay here again :)

A delightful motor lodge, clean, tidy, well looked after.Wished we could have stayed longer. Made very welcome on arrival by both little dog and I think Charlene! Minutes to centre of Taupo. Tarrif was very favourable.Will return in the future. Thank you Jenny & Glenn ps bought the German Shepherd Dog as planned!
