A relaxed cottage style motel offering guests a little tradition by the lake. We have four family units and seven double studios (two of them with excellent lake views). Every unit except The Nook has a double whirlpool spa bath. All units have a queen bed, Sky channels, flat screen televisions and cooking facilities. Each one has a private garden courtyard and/or deck. Guest laundry, off-street parking, cot and highchair available. Complimentary newspaper. Cooked/continental breakfasts and Devonshire teas on request. A pathway on the property leads to a safe swimming beach and the lake-edge Lions Walkway. Several popular restaurants are within 1 kilometre of the motel. Tariff: $115-$160, extra adult $20, child $10.

Group of 4 adults and 2 kids had a brilliant time. Very friendly and welcoming folk, kitchen was complete down to the baking tray all wrapped in foil ready for use. Fantastic little place, loved it! plenty of room for the family, kids slept downstairs and mum had upstairs to herself with a massive spa bath. Heaven. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Brilliant value for money! We stayed in the family unit, it comfortably housed the 5 of us, and the children loved the giant spa bath. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the room was immaculately clean and the beds were super comfortable. Would definitely recommend, and will be staying at Cottage Mews next time we visit Taupo.

We loved our stay at Cottage Mews. There were 6 of us and we fitted in nicely to one of their family units. Staff were great and honest when we left something behind. We will definatly be back next time we come through! Amazingly close to the lake and a short drive to shops what more could you want? Thanks
