Room was clean, within walking distance to town,but the main reason to stay here was the spa bath,which didnt work!!! one 3 second blast from the bottom jets and that was it!!! disappointing,when it was advertised.

Room was pretty basic (compared to other places stayed at for similar money) but was all that was needed for one night Welcome was not very friendly on arrival or check out

We have stayed here before and vowed never to stay again as the ad was misleading advertising balcony with lake view. We wanted a room with lake view and even stipulated this on our booking request form. Well I guess if we craned our neck around the balcony (which was shared by all the other units on the first floor) we may have been able to peek Lake Taupo).The room was clean enough as you would expect but the proprietors were mean with toiletries. One slither of soap for 2 and one small shampoo. The front desk person surly too.will definitely not stay again

None of our rooms have a lake view and we do not advertise that they do. If you have indeed stayed at Executive Motel in the past you would know this. There are very nice lake views from the upstairs balcony and previous guests have commented on this. You were obviously put out that you didn't have a lake view from your room so appear intent on being destructive and making a personal criticism of a staff member. The bathroom toiletries are more than adequate for two persons and are replenished daily. These have been personally trialled and are not single use only. We kindly remind you that we are a four star motel, not a 5 star hotel.
