We were extremely disappointed as there was no fridge in our room, a chilly bin full of ice was provided. Aparently a spa bath is a luxury but we didn't request it. Compensation would have been better.

The hotel itself is lovely, however the cleaning is less desirable, i.e. it looks like the cleaner just washed our glasses in the bathroom, and the food from the restuarant came out cold, and it did not mention in the room that you need too make a booking in the restaurant.

We had a very enjoyable stay here, restaurant food was delicious, good sized, well appointed rooms. staff very friendly and check in and out very smooth. great to have sofa bed made up on arrival as kids were tired. only thing lacking i think is some kids dvds for hire, for those rainy days, but i would definately recommend it and will enjoy staying there again, everything worked like clockwork and the spllce cocktails my wife had were the best she had tasted.

TERRIBLE STAY. Would not recommend ever. Check in is meant to be 2pm . Room not ready on arrival. Didn’t check in until after 3pm and this put our tight schedule in Wanaka out. 2 swimming pools but only one open. Spas extremely hot. Ridiculous layout of pool complex had to walk past counter of restaurant to enter and exit area, as side gate wouldn’t open. Room service didn’t collect dirty linen left for collection and bathroom door had some dry blood on it not from us. Net curtain didn’t run the length of the track therefore leaving a gap that looked strait into bathroom. Check out was shocking. It took over 20 minutes as the lady didn’t have a clue what she was doing. She had to restart system two or three times and then she tried to charge us $180.00 for someone who had previously stayed in the same room. The late checkout once again put our schedule out. For what we paid you would have expected better.

We do our best to have all our rooms ready for check-in at 2pm, however in some circumstances eg peak times this occasionally not possible and we do our best to have them ready as soon as possible.
