Welcome to Korohi Vineyard bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of Marlborough 's wine trail. Tastefully decorated, quiet, separate accommodation with a wonderfully sunny veranda and set in a working vineyard 500 metres from the picturesque Wairau River and 10 minutes' drive from Blenheim.

Our separate accommodation was built for our friends and family to come and enjoy this wonderful region. A great place to relax, wander around our vineyard, enjoy the views and the spa pool.

Dine at one of the nearby vineyard restaurants. Walk to the Village complex - a cafe and shops selling local wines, olive products and other Marlborough delicacies. There is also a stunning 30 minute easy walk through the Korohi vineyard and past neighbouring cherry and apricot orchards to the elevated stop bank.

Borrow our bikes and cycle through the vineyards.

Kiwi hosts Linda and Willie Crosse have been growing grapes for 18 years and love being part of the Marlborough Community.

  • We couldn't say enough great things about our wonderful and personalized stay with linda & rusty. Everything was perfect - from the luxurious room, fabulous breakfast and breathtaking surroundings........and of course the friendly host. We will definitely be staying again. The room layout and grounds are definitely family friendly. Highly recommended. . 5

  • Do not stay there! We spend a great vacation in New Zealand and had booked 13 different bed & breakfast accomodations in advance. 12 of them were great only the Korohi Vineyard was a disaster! We stayed there for one night in February 2012. When we arrived we were very disppointed not to meet our host Linda Crosse. Who just left us a letter where she wrote that she would neither be in at that night nor the next morning. The letter was longer with lots of information but that did not replace a person. What really annoyed us is that Linda Crosse had my e-mail address and the e-mail address of the hosts where we stayed the two nights before and she did not get in contact with us to leave us a choice! One reason why we booked bed and breakfast is that we like to meet and talk to local people. The other reason is that we like to have a nice start in the day by getting a breakfast served. Both things should be offerded by booking a bed and breakfast accomodation but had not been offered by Ms. Crosse. We had to make our breakfast by ourselves in our bedroom. It was the most disturbing moment of our whole vacation! If we would have known in advance we would not have booked this accomodation and pay 175,00 NZD for the De-Vine Room. Which smelled a little bit moldily by the way. We left Linda Crosse a letter in telling her that we are disappointed and not willing to pay the full price for not offering the full service. We wrote her to send us an answer to my e-mail address. Ms. Crosse neither wrote us an e-mail nor reimbursed us a part of the total sum which we already paid in November 2011 with our booking over travelbug by credit card payment. Not until we wrote an e-mail to her and a complaint e-mail to the tourist office of NZ we got an answer. Ms. Crosse suggested us to donate the full amount to the Christchurch Earthquake fund. We accepted and wrote her we would like to have a bank receipt. After another two weeks we asked for the bank receipt. The answer was that she left the 175,00 NZD in cash at the bank which is taking the donations. No receipt! This sounds implausible to us. Did she really donate the money? We will never know. How can you be sure this will not happen to you? By not booking the Korohi Vineyard! 1

  • Hi. This is the first bad review in 4 years and I am responding after careful thought, because I believe some good must be the out come. With kindness, the guests visit was not what they expected. European B & B's are in people's homes and the guests are pampered, much like a New Zealand homestay. Korohi vineyard's Studio is a seperate building which faces the vines and the orchard/garden. It is modern and tastefully appointed. Breakfast is supplied when required at $12.50 per person. The appeal is, it is quiet, romantic, relaxed and spacious. Most people love to walk amongst the vines, relax on the deck reading and enjoying a glass of wine. It is truly an amazing place. The breakfasts are what I like when I'm travelling. Lots of fruit, healthy grains, seeds and nuts, orange juice, wholesome breads, and the jams and spreads are made by me from the fruit trees. And good coffee. When the guests arrived at the vineyard there was a very welcoming letter which explained my absence, (family birthday) I recommended the local restaurants, wineries, where to walk, local attractions, where the bikes were. Two times in the letter I asked them to contact me if there was a problem. As there was a back up plan, and I have many guests who choose to have the pivancy and leisure of what time they wish to breakfast. I left a breakfast basket, and a special tea tray with extra goodies. The guests stayed the night and ate the breakfast, etc. They left and continued their journey. I was sent e-mails complaining about the lack of service, and responded in a light and helpful way, I thanked them for pointing out their problem, I acknowledged their disappointment, I remieied the problem by training a wonderful friend Evelyn Althrop to replace me if I go away again. (I did go to my son's rowing championships ) And I could of re-funded them $25 but I wanted some good to come from this situation,so in good faith suggested donating the whole fee to a charity. We agreed on the Christchurch Earth quake. I have donated the full fee. This is a bad review, and the guests have chosen to still feel bad and be negative, suspicious and melicous. I have chosen to review what I have here, to make positive changes....one is the wonderful Evelyn. And two, change the office into a stand alone kitchen. I think that there will be many guests who would appreciate that. And mostly to continue enjoying those wonderful good travellers to this very beautiful part of New Zealand. Kind regards Linda
