Tory Lodge is set among 10 ha of natural Marlborough Sounds bush in beautiful Maraetai Bay, with stunning scenery and sparkling blue waters....

The atmosphere at Tory Lodge is comfortable and relaxed. We aim to provide each and every person with the best possible service, food and accommodation for a unique and unforgettable experience in the beautiful Marlborough Sounds.

Tory Lodge is surrounded by some of the best New Zealand attractions. Just 100 metres from the beach, the lodge is also close to the Queen Charlotte Track, bush walks, dolphin watching, and wine tours. As part of the all inclusive activities at Tory Lodge you can also enjoy fishing, swimming or snorkeling. Explore the bay in a kayak or dinghy, take the opportunity to go sightseeing, bird watching, bush walking, and see our nearby waterfall or glowworms in the evening. Or just relax in our hot Cedar Tub.


Our lodge revolves around you. Most things are possible all you need to do is ask.

Guests can choose to travel through the scenic Marlborough Sounds to Tory Lodge by water taxi from Picton or fly by helicopter or floatplane.
We have 2 moorings available free of charge if you have your own boat.

Accommodation

We offer two stylish private one bedroom chalets with comfortable king-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms and a one bedroom chalet with twin beds and en-suite bathroom: A spacious family seperate two bedroomed unit with en-suite bathroom & lounge is also available. (Sorry we can't accomadate children under 5 years old)

Enjoy fresh home cooked meals, seafood is our speciality, accompanied with world renowned Marlborough wines from our well stocked bar. Cooked or continental breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea and coffee all included. Meals are served in the dining room, outdoor dining area or delivered to your room.

Menu options vary daily, we can tailor a menu package to suit you.

Relax and unwind with your favourite drink in front of our roaring open fire or kick back in a reclining chair or comfortable leather sofa and watch your favourite television program on our 50 inch plasma screen.

Take a walk through our native bush up to our spectacular waterfall,take a dip if your are brave, sit in the shade of a tree and ponder the meaning of life! Put your feet up and relax on the deck, excellent music, interesting books, board games and more………….
After a hard day relax in our hot cedar pool and enjoy a drink from our extensive range of wines and beers:
