The Buccanner Lodge is located a just a few minutes drive from the picturesque seaport town of Picton and offers large, modern, ensuited rooms with a balcony that makes the most of the lovely outlook over the Waikawa Marina. After a hard day walking the Queen Charlotte Track or maybe kayaking in the sounds, sit and enjoy a cold glass of local Sauvignon Blanc while taking in the peaceful marina and sea views. Lovely stay. Nice balconey in the sun at the end of the day. There was a shower caddy in our room. Water pressure not very good but that could be indicative of the area. Good value for money for an overnight stay.

We had a lovely time at the Buccaneer - it was cosy, we felt really at home. Our hosts even prepared homemade bread! Lovely view of the Marina. The shower could use a toiletry caddy where we can put our soaps and stuffs needed for showering. But that's a minor thing. Beds are comfy, plenty of towels provided! Will definitely stay here again when in Picton. Thanks!
