5km(5min)drive from Picton central. Beach, playground, launching ramp cross the road. Ample parking. Peaceful location. Popular spot for holidays or Picton stop over. Japanese spoken as well. Hire boats(Canoes and dinghy)for your holiday entertainment.

Clean and tidy with a nice welcome but unfortunately these motels are very tired and the two bed room unit is very cramped. I think originally it would have been designed as a separate bedroom unit but putting the double bed into the lounge and calling it a two bed unit may be ok for one night only but two or more nights would be very cramped. This motel was the most disappointing one of our trip around the south island. The unit was extremely tired and needs upgrading. I would not stay there again.

Sorry you were disappointed with your stay. These Motels are not new but certainly not run down at all. You would have paid more for an online booking. We welcome inspection anytime and would have appreciated comment when you were here. While you were here another guest extended their stay from 1 night to 3 nights. Thank you.

The motel was fine bit the owner/manager was unaware of our booking.We are glad it wasn't full up and we didn't have to go out and find a place to stay late in the evening after a long car journey. Your fault or his?

I had just returned home from town and the guest I met in the car park. I needed to check the booking sheet, which I did and he was listed. There was no problem and as he has stated, no problem with the unit. The guest has given me a very harsh rating and spoiled all my good ratings by upsetting our percentage.
