The Captains Rose

Situated just a few moments walk from the foreshore, where you can see the wreck of the old 'Janie Seddon' and look at the awesome views across Tasman Bay to Nelson. Stroll the lovely estuary walks behind us, that have beautiful views with Mt Arthur in the background. Only 4 minutes into Motueka township by car.Two minutes to the lovely golf course. About 20 mins to the Abel Tasman National Park and the fab Kaiteriteri Beach.

THE CAPTAINS SUITE, comprises: bedroom(queen size bed), with private bathroom, its own lounge, with TV, DVD, video player, tea/coffee facilities, microwave, toaster and fridge. There is a full set of dishes so you can fix up a meal for yourselves if you don't feel like going out again. Please note there is no oven or cooktop. The lounge opens out to our cool and shady back garden. This suite also has a sofa bed should it be needed, in the lounge area. Please enquire regarding the rates for children.

THE ROSE ROOM, has its own shower and basin, with the toilet down the hall. Help yourself to tea and coffee in the kitchen..
Quality bed linen and bath robes supplied in both bedrooms.

Our main lounge overlooks the gorgeous swimming pool with gardens and BBQ. We also have a chiminea, a little bit of fun on a cool evening, magic with the lights on round the pool. It is right by a vine covered nook - some of our guests take a bottle of wine under there and we don't see them for a while!

Included is a delicious continental breakfast, which includes fresh fruit 'in season' from local growers,local honey, home made muesli,home made conserves and home baked bread. Juice, yoghurt tea coffee, etc. On any given day you are likely to be treated to a batch of fresh muffins or other surprise. Yum!
